If the check mark becomes verifying you are who you claim to be (identity and potentially a non self-editable bio), there’s no need for “why”.

@ThierryBreton @DigitalEU Buying a blue check 5 years ago gave you trustworthiness. A system that tells you why you have this specific check still makes sense because, for example, we know that you are a politician.
