Peter Obi
Peter Obi@PeterObi·
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

As we are in the era of facts are stubborn, here are some of the most stubborn facts: 1. @PeterObi will not send anyone on tv or podcast to disrespect any other candidate. I can only say about my candidate, I don’t know about yours. 2. @PeterObi will be the man opposition candidate in the 2027 election. He won’t spend dollar to secure his candidacy 3. @PeterObi will not be anyone’s VP. 4. Obidients will attack anyone who we feel is an obstacle to the new Nigeria we all dream of. 5. We care less about tantrums or tears. As a matter of fact, we use tears to prepare our breakfast. Just as usual, Facts are stubborn ✍🏿✍🏿✍🏿✍🏿

Did you know that Atiku ran for President in: -2007 and lost -2011 and lost -2015 and lost -2019 and lost -2023 and lost -2027 and will lose and that his 80-year-old dream will die a natural death. When it's the “turn” of the North, Atiku must run for president. When it's the “turn” of the South, Atiku must run for president. It doesn’t matter the region who's turn it is, Atiku must run. To him he doesn’t care if it’s the turn of the North or the South, to him, all he knows is that he must run. This is desperation at the highest level and will be put to an end in 2027 if he dares to run.

When it is the “turn” of the north, Atiku runs for president. When it is the “turn” of the south, Atiku runs for president. It doesn’t matter what year it is: Atiku runs for president. The man cares for no consideration of anybody else apart from himself. For about 20years straight since 2007, he has contested in every presidential election/primary. Just like Buhari and Tinubu, Clueless manikins who believe Aso Rock is their father’s personal property. Desperate old entitled useless politicians.

Let me explain something to you, Atikulates. Maybe intelligent ones amongst you will understand. Obidients are highly IDEALISTIC. most of us aren't politicians, and we care little for your political permutations and calculations. We just want a working country and we see it in only one man. That man is NOT Atiku Abubakar. That is why we didn't vote for him in 2023. That is still why we won't vote for him in 2027. That we chose to work together doesn't mean we don't know what we want out of the coalition. The new Nigeria we speak of has nothing to do with Atiku Abubakar and his ambitions. If you want, tweet from today till election day. You won't change our minds. We will be voting for Peter Obi on whichever party he points us to. Your attempt to reduce PO to a regional candidate is, at best, stupid. Tell that to the 1.5 million people who voted for him in the North Central. Tell that to the 1 million people that voted for him in the South West Tell that to the 1.3m people that voted for him in the South South. This makes your argument fall flat on his head. When you say, "Peter Obi's political career will be finished if he leaves ADC," be sure to know you are talking to the wall We are too idealistic to kowtow to your cheap blackmail. In the end,Nigeria will be OK

She was sacked. She is from rivers state, OGONI . Her offence ? Attending Peter Obi rally in port harcourt on her off day and posting it online. She was not on duty. It was her off duty. Her boss saw it online. The next day when she came to work. He asked her, why she went for Peter Obi rally. She said it was her off duty. He immediately sacked her and told her to go and meet Peter Obi to give her a job . She came social media and cried out and cried out. I told one of staff to reach out to her and invite her. I collected the information of the hotel and sent my CSO to investigate. He came back and told me it was true and her boss said Peter Obi should give her a job. I hate it so much when the rich intimidate the poor. And GOD is not happy when people maltreat the poor. So the only I can fight back is to use SPIRITUAL POWER OF GOD and use tithes that come into the church to raise every poor I encounter like 42 free schools , 2 free hospitals, overseas job placement, local and international scholarship for the poor. So I immediately took up her case. First asked her how much was her salary in the hotel they sacked her. She said 18,000. I mean eighteen thousand Naira only. PURE WICKEDNESS FROM A WICKED RICH MAN. What can 18k buy ? I immediately employed her in OPM printing press. I told her , you are a young girl, why are you not going to school ? She said her parents don’t have money to send her to university and eighteen thousand Naira salary can not do anything about school unless prostitution which she vowed to GOD never to do. So I immediately i immediately placed her on opm university Schlarship ( local university) She wrote jamb and passed and gained admission to study ACCOUNTING in Ignatius Ajuru University. I instructed my chief of staff to be allowing to go school and work anytime she has no lectures. And today she is on her FINAL YEAR studying accounting.
