Hundred Years War - French Men-at-Arms. This unit is a true mix-and-match of figures from Claymore Casting, Perry Miniatures, Black Tree Design, and Crusader Miniatures from @NorthStarFigs. Medieval units, in my opinion, look best with a wide variety of poses.
@JAD965 Ken Burns American Civil War is my favorite series of all time although that was made before BoB and is a documentary, but it was a series. That said Band of Brothers is awesome.
Well a very tired but happy Jeff returns to a very wet and unhappy Wales (less said the better, I suppose), after a very busy WWL6 in Bristol. Better make a start on some opposition for my 6mm French, in the shape of some British infantry. Baccus figures as usual 😀
@gareth_lane I think the least I see is 3rd Century Romans overall, but they gradually have been gaining traction over the years and are competitive imho. I have some 3rd Century ones, but that project kind of stalled in favor of Caesarian/Late Romans.
Caesar’s Civil Wars - General Pompey’s Spanish Legionary Cohorts with Greek Mercenary Archers in support. Commanded by Quintus Caecilius Metellus Pius Scipio. Metellus Scipio led the centre at the Battle of Pharsalus and was overall commander at the Battle of Thapsus.
@gareth_lane Yes I agree. I like most Romans except perhaps 1st Century I suppose, but yeah Caesarian Romans are the coolest as they have that extra tough look.
