If the EU got its act together it would absolutely become a third superpower. I think it would have almost zero influence on US/China issues, since I can't see how it could project power into the Pacific theater. And no one would believe the EU if it said it was interested in the fates of Taiwan or the South China Sea. It could keep the remnants of Russia under check though. But that first "if" is a mighty big one.

This was a post from my old account showing worn or transitional corners. Insetting the faces on each side of a corner is a great way to get the worn corner look on wood and metal surfaces in subdiv. Simple and effective.

I watched @Asmongold video on how AI will displace the middle 80% to the bottom 10% and here is something that AI bros don't get: If you take out the human factor from production you also take it out from consumption. Let's say a big chunk of the population is unemployed due to AI. Let's say UBI does happen. That UBI will only allow you to survive, not buy luxuries. Almost every company at the top of the stock market makes a product that is not a necessity to live. So if the massive unemployment does come to pass, a lot of the market will be destroy along with it.
