@AztecCrewElder @JoePostingg It doesn't entail electing every Dem who's running. It entails gaining a majority. There are plenty of Dems running who have mainstream Democratic platforms, and who don't have unsavory backgrounds, to accomplish that.

In terms of sales tax, I wouldn't mind huge increases on certain things - like alcohol, cigarettes, name brand products, weed in states it's legal, etc.

Daily Wire overexerted during the post COVID era. During COVID podcast viewership was insane and following the political landscape was heated Money was really good. Daily Wire spent massively on big movies, hiring sprees, documentaries. Now that the Culture war has subsided, Trump and GOP have won, and a new political landscape is emerging the only direction you can go is down if youre on top. Market is dividing and they have to retract. I doubt they are in any real distress. Likely they are cutting back from the excesses of the culture war era.

Roads are paid for with the gas tax. One of the most fair and just taxes. People who use the road more pay more tax. So fair... EVs are starting to strain that system, though. I'm not against all forms of taxation, just income and property. There's still sales tax, payroll tax, capital gains tax, etc. Not to mention local PDs and FDs can be paid with speeding tickets, bail payments, etc... Democrats need to find a way to make it work without sticking their hands in people's pockets.
