Genuinely there should be a rule against lorries overtaking each other when there’s about 0.2mph in it. Watching them crawl past each other for the next three miles while blocking the outside lane is mind blowing.. If it’s going to take longer than boiling a kettle, pack it in 🫠

@lufcgrace As an ex lorry driver I have to point out that the 3 mile overtake is a great stress reliever for the drivers involved. Its like tractor drivers on country lanes, how many cars can you collect before someone tries a dangerous overtake.

That’s categorilly untrue. My company has a two month blackout every year when major projects launch. Some of thes projects can take years to develop. No one, not even the CEO is allowed to take off during that period. You have to be consistent across the organization. Making an exception for one means you have to make an exception for all. So I don’t care if you give me two years notice. If it’s during the blackout, it’s getting denied. The blackout period is almost always the same so it’s not a surprise

I’d agree money spent on electric for car is less than money spent on diesel for same distance but unless you’re buying a new car anyway it’s not as simple as that.
