@StephenTompsett @NobleF1 Initially the rules only specified static test only when other teams found out about Mercedes trick they asked the FIA so they added checks at high temperatures from June now the problem is there is another FIA rule that say engine must be legal at all time.

Ferrari decided to play it safe and remove its Halo mini wings after the Sprint in China following some discussions with the FIA over the design - even though they passed scrutineering on Saturday. It is likely rival teams had questioned the designs...and the upside of performance wasn't worth risk of any potential post-race trouble if others complained.
