@JoelHorse5 @7AFL See I’m the opposite, I’m not really bother if my kids hear a swear word, its just phoneme… big whoop. But I don’t want them seeing the normalisation of aggressive gestures on TV. Its more about how you teach them to respond to relatively minor things than hiding them from it.

The formal army magazines of my British Grandfather from the 1940s refer to it most frequently as ‘Soccer’ too, so this revisionism is new.
