6 days between these photos. This green had been hit by leatherjacket damage and was starting to thin and lose density. Through some simple investigation and understanding what was actually going on in the profile, we put together a straightforward mix of Consolidate Links and Consolidate Molasses to support the plant rather than overload it. 6 days on and you can already see the difference. Colour is improving, the plant is responding and the surface is starting to recover. It does not always need to be complicated. The key is asking the right questions, using a simple and effective approach, and giving the turf the support it needs at the right time.
