Discussions at the BC Natural Resources Forum last week focused on several trends that matter for Canada’s energy future: the central role of Indigenous participation, clearer policy signals around natural resource development in British Columbia, and the continued relevance of LNG in supporting economic growth and energy security. Last week at @BCNRF, Skeena was part of important conversations shaping B.C.’s future. President & CEO Randy Reichert spoke on the Critical Minerals and Mining panel, highlighting Eskay Creek’s critical mineral deposits, while our team connected across events throughout the week.

Last week, Centerra participated in the @BCNRF in Prince George where President and CEO, Paul Tomory joined industry leaders to discuss what it takes to build investment in BC. During the Forum, Centerra also participated in a press conference with Premier @Dave_Eby and the BC Minister of Mining and Critical Minerals @JagrupBrar1 following the Province's approval of amendments to Mount Milligan's operating permits. This fast-tracked approval allows for continued operations through 2035 and acts as a basis to support future permit authorizations which will be required to achieve the recently announced mine life extension of Mount Milligan to 2045.
