Just sayin’. In the past two years, 11 of the 12 boys basketball state champs have been either Catholic, private or charter schools. Only exception Central Dauphin. And it’s 16 of 18 in three years.

It’s almost laughable the lengths some will go to deflect blame from the true root of the problem. For those in the back of the room or having their pockets lined by the right advertisers, it is not coaches and players needing to work harder or developing their feeder systems.

Alright let’s be honest for a second. Recruits especially from the WPIAL… when you tell me “I’m not interested in D3 football” I want to introduce you to this kid. Ben Bladel High School - Fabulous 22 selection and finished his career at Moon HS with around 40+ sacks. Grove City College 2 X All American 4 X First Team All Conference Conference Defensive Player of the year 39.5 career sacks (School Record) 70.5 TFL (School Record) 12 FF 173 TOT Why us? “Grove City College has done a lot for me and it was one of the best decisions i’ve made in my life.… Hands down one of the biggest reasons was simple it was just vision. I didn’t really know what it meant or anything about it. I could tell Coach D did though and he truly believed in it. The first time I talked to him i knew something special was going on within his program” I encourage you guys to take a look at us. This kid did. He’s had a pretty good 4 years I think.
