NEW: Police have released more info about the "Harry Dresden" break-in in Fairfield, CA, say both the homeowner & Nichols sustained head injuries. Police are praising the "actions of the homeowner" who raced home to confront 30-year-old Jason Nichols with a shovel. Authorities say that the homeowner's wife and child were inside when Nichols broke in. When Nichols was unable to break in through the front door, he broke in through a sliding glass door. "The homeowner's husband, who was away at the time, observed the suspect through a home security camera and immediately returned to the residence," said police. "As the suspect entered the home, the homeowner returned, armed himself with a shovel, and confronted Nichols." "A physical altercation ensued, during which both the homeowner and Nichols sustained head injuries." "We are grateful that the family is safe and commend our officers for their swift response in bringing this dangerous situation to a safe resolution." The woman and child were reportedly unharmed.

GOOD NEWS: The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office states that the three people who assaulted me yesterday, will be CHARGED. Here’s the footage of Paige Ostroushko, one of the three, being arrested after attacking me. She immediately runs from the police and pretends to act shocked as to why she’s being detained. Thank you to @BreannaMorello for being so on top of this and thank you to the Sheriff's department who ended up having to drive me to safety yesterday due to the violence of the mob. Am looking forward to seeing these charges all the way through.

@Empty_America I installed a clawfoot tub in my 100-year-old year-old house because the previous tub had been removed.

Many Americans don't like baths and bathtubs. Subconsciously implies a sinful degree of leisure. In America you get up a 5am, work out, "jump in the shower" and then off to the office. Also hygiene anxiety about the water being "dirty."

My friend -- in a nearly identical situation -- had her $100 sign grabbed out of her hands by a student on campus and broken in half. She called the police, who were preparing to arrest him for sudden snatch robbery (think purse snatcher). He pleaded with her from the back of the squad car. She forgave him and declined to press charges. Next week he returned, harassing her again and mocking her for letting him go. It's all on video. They must learn.

@baker_girlie I would have asked her to apologise, she seems like a nice kid and recognises she will learn with maturity. Charging her was petty, maybe the dad in me. I think her nerves and recognition of how she behaved badly is plain to see and her lesson was learnt. Don’t like it.
