🚨 A SILENT SIGNAL IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
An Ohio-class SSGN surfacing off Gibraltar is not routine.
Add a Dry Deck Shelter…
Add special forces transfer…
And the picture becomes very clear.
This is not theatre.
This is preparation.
The Dry Deck Shelter exists for one purpose:
Covert insertion and extraction of elite units.
Underwater.
Unseen.
Undetected.
When assets like this are forward-positioned near a strategic chokepoint like Gibraltar…
It tells you something.
Operations are not just being planned.
They are being enabled.
These submarines are among the most capable platforms in the world:
• Cruise missile strike capability
• Covert surveillance
• Special operations deployment
They don’t move for show.
They move with purpose.
And when they surface…
It’s usually because something is already in motion.
While headlines focus on carriers and airstrikes…
It’s the quiet movements like this that matter most.
Because the real operations are rarely the ones you see.
They’re the ones you don’t.

@RedLineReportt She’s so ridiculous that it’s not worth commenting about

BREAKING 🅱️
Zohran Mamdani’s advisers plan for socialized housing..
“Housing will be owned by a collective and everyone will be paying 30% of their income, in order to live in their housing.”
“If someone makes $0 per year, they live for free — if someone makes $500k per year, they’re paying 30% of that.”
Thoughts...??👀

@KamalaHarris Could you be any less thoughtful and under informed? I do t think so.

@KerryHolmekb An astonishing liar his entire career. It began with all his fabrications about his college experiences and never stopped.
English

@SDickson42 @LLBiggers Agree … it’s been mostly a “money and attention grab” the whole time. Being efficient everyday is still important (I kept my house at 65 all winter, as an example)
English

@LLBiggers Thank you for posting this! I am 60 and I have been told my entire life that the world was going to end within years….. each time, the date came and went without the devastation. I finally started looking at it and realized that the people telling me were only trying to create fear to get community and funding….. it is just disheartening that we have gotten so far from reality and truth in global conversation! I do think we should be good stewards of the environment…. I am a proud electric car owner and I do try to conserve when it makes good sense. Thank you again for posting and talking about your journey!

The Ritholtz wealth guys are an example of where I really fell hard for a schtick and respected them a lot when I first started diving into finance only for the respect to completely degrade over time. The final straw was @awealthofcs tweeting something patently false and just completely ignoring my reply pointing out his mistake. Completely disingenuous for someone who builds an identity around financial education.

After years of telling everybody else how to run the country and months of deliberation, I have a special announcement:
I’m running for President of the United States in 2028.
I am aware of what happened the last time I worked in the White House.
But I do believe I can help guide this country in the right direction.
Join me and help me heal America.
Mooch 2028 🇺🇸

@DougKass @SquawkCNBC @JoeSquawk Lighten up or smoke a doobie or something. @JoeSquawk is a giant reason so many of us set the alarm early to listen to his realism every morning on @SquawkCNBC
English

A new low in the business media @SquawkCNBC - just when you think it can't get worse.. and you can't even make this up.
Ten minutes on hair loss treatments and a video showing @JoeSquawk blow drying his hair to prove that he is not wearing a wig.
With everything that is going on in the world (geopolitically) and in our markets, @CNBC wastes the time of their viewers.
Good god, producers.
I can no longer criticize the network as its gotten too easy.
I obviously made a mistake turning @CNBC back on.

@KathyJones @CollinMartinCS @KevRGordon @LizAnnSonders Is that blond lady close behind?
Congrats on the wonderful career

FYI: I have officially retired from Schwab. Today was my last day. Going forward any posts will reflect my personal views and not those of the company. For Schwab's take on markets, see my brilliant colleagues' posts: @CollinMartinCS , @KevRGordon and @LizAnnSonders.

@jimiuorio I was a Navy sailor and met Betsy (married her … what a good wife she would be.). Close

@PhthalateSoup @EndWokeness Absolutely… firing squad (it’s really inexpensive)

I’ve said it many times, and I’ll say it again: unprovoked acts of violence should immediately result in the death penalty.
I don’t care if anyone died or was injured. If you punch a random person in the back of the head, hit a random person with a bat, push a random person into a train, shoot up a school…. Instant death.
If the evidence is irrefutable, walk them straight out of the courtroom and kill them in front of everyone immediately.
I’m sick of this shit.

@elonmusk If I buy a new Model S today (out of your inventory), will I get the new FSD version included free for my lifetime ownership of the car?

@PTBwrites Go ask your AI assistant. Any more answers from me and I’m gonna ask for a credit card number

@BFHAHN If they fully paid into it, why is the trust fund reaching insolvency in 2032
English

@DrJesseMorse Why don’t you conduct some Continuous Improvement sessions using bottoms up analysis, zero-based budgeting, cost vs benefit calculations, and fish bone diagrams to find ways to lower cost of delivery and to reduce patient satisfaction?
English

The reimbursement rate of Medicaid is less than the cost to provide that service to the patient.
Meaning, for every Medicaid patient that a hospital treats they lose money on that patient.
It’s like the hospital is actually paying the patient to be treated.
A hospital that is predominantly treating Medicaid patients will never be profitable.
In fact, Medicare is just about breaking even as well, traditionally speaking.
The only way hospitals truly generate revenue is through private insurance companies. Also, hospitals have to dramatically overcharge so that by the time the final bill is settled, they can make a profit to be able to cover the Medicare and Medicaid patients.
The current hospital system in the United States is unsustainable. With the upcoming significant expected financial changes, there’s going to be a lot of hospitals laying off employees and closing their doors.
NBC News@NBCNews
More than 400 hospitals across the U.S. are at high risk of closing or cutting services because of the Medicaid cuts in President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” according to an analysis from the progressive watchdog group Public Citizen. nbcnews.com/health/health-…

@heresyfinancial But, but … don’t you agree that Bernie has much better ideas and bigger needs for your money? Mamdani has great ideas, too. Just let them have it and don’t be a punk.

How much of what belongs to me is your fair share?
I’ll give you a hint
Zero
Whether it’s income, wealth, sales, or other, taxes are theft.
Bernie Sanders@BernieSanders
Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

This was reportedly a focused strike on hardened infrastructure in Isfahan, a nuclear facility, using bunker-buster bombs. Let’s review the geopolitics: Peaceful nuclear aspirations don’t need to be built under bunkers. Strike now or deal with an Islamist version of North Korea later. And yes, they were actively rebuilding the facilities after the first strike, Operation Midnight Hammer.
These simple facts continue to get lost in the debate over this incredibly bold foreign policy action. The action against Iran is long term thinking. The easy political thing to do would be to agree to a crappy deal and move on. That would be short term thinking.

With all this discourse online around “nice cans” I’ve had some time to reflect. After much thought and consideration I’ve decided it’s time to start taking myself more seriously. I’ve invested in a whole new golf wardrobe. I will only be wearing collared shirts from this day forward.
Thank you for supporting me through this difficult transition in my life.

@aishahhasnie So spot on! And I’m thrilled you’re an American … love your reporting

I've seen birth tourism up close. It's a total abuse of the system.
Think about it -- someone like me, who was not born in the U.S. but has lived here since I was a 6 years old, will never be able to run for President. But a child born here through birth tourism, then taken back and raised in their parents' country, never growing up with American values, somehow can.
American citizenship is not an "insurance policy."
