My Granny died 5 days ago. She was a huge part of my life. I guess it’s normal but I’ve really been struggling to deal with it. Knowing she is gone forever and won’t be at my wedding later this year hurts. Cancer had her everywhere but her brain. Being able to spend her final days talking to her when she was all there mentally was a blessing. Getting to say what we both did before she passed is something I’m so grateful for. But damn, it makes it so much harder. Hearing “Tristan, just promise me you’ll never change” has me so messed up. A great thing to hear on paper, but when I don’t often think a lot good about myself it adds a lot to process. I’ll be okay. But it might take a little while 😔 😭
