Prosecutors say D4vd allegedly met Celeste Rivas back in 2022 when she was just 11 years old. According to authorities, their relationship later turned inappropriate, with claims it became sexual in late 2023 when Celeste was 13 and he was 18. Prosecutors allege D4vd paid one of Celeste's classmates $1,000 to secretly deliver a new phone so they could keep talking to each other. Recovered texts between Burke and Rivas "contain references to sex, pregnancy, abortion, and use of the Plan B emergency contraceptive," the brief alleges. Burke and Rivas also exchanged "explicit photographs documenting and corroborating their s-xual relationship," it claims.

The appeal for classic combat is just a strong desire for the finishers. I mean look at this video he's referencing. It's a finisher showcase, NOT a combat showcase.
We want the cinematic style finishers back, but can we not pretend the old one button counter kill combat was superior gameplay to literal hitbox based combat? You are lying to yourself at that point.

Assassin's Creed's classic combat system with those FIRE finisher animations will ALWAYS be superior to the new RPG damage numbers combat with enemies that take 50 slashes to defeat just because you don't have a purple sword. We need a return to this.

It is unfortunate that RE9 came out THIS YEAR……I can NOT confidently say “Its getting GOTY” simply because of 1 damn game 😭 Im actually punching air right now. Definitely gonna get some awards but yea…..GOTY in Jeopardy. Im not even talking smack either, GTA6 is like watching a category five hurricane coming to make Landfall.

Now that Highguard is shutting down, I hope that every game studio and especially Sony will finally understand that live-service fatigue is real and gamers want good single player story driven games.
Studios shouldn’t suffer layoffs and closures because the upper management forces them to make everything live-service.
The money and budget that was wasted on some live-service game like Concord, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and the notorious “AAAA” Skull and Bones would’ve probably equal to 5-6 good single player games.
If you take a look at cancelled games for PlayStation 5, most of them were live-service titles.
Its no wonder then why this generation of consoles had so few exclusive titles.

Completely new live service IP's rarely work (aside from Rivals and Arc raiders) Especially Shooters cuz most of the time they are just a reskin of another game.

Highguard wasn't for me and we can debate the whats and the whys for it ending but a high production game and studio closing shop after 45 days IS NOT GOOD
Something needs to change and that starts with leadership listening to what players want vs listening to what shareholders want
