Glory be to God Almighty!
What a glorious and spirit-filled day it has been! Today, Sunday 3rd May 2026, I had the immense honour and privilege to serve as Guest Preacher at the Fund Raising Service of ECWA Agingi LC, held at ECWA Agingi LC, Off Army Barracks Road, Bassa LGA, Plateau State.
The service was convened for the noble purpose of raising funds towards the building and completion of the Church Auditorium; a project for the glory of the Lord! I preached on the powerful ECWA 2026 theme: “Keep Your Lamps Burning” (Luke 12:35-40). It was a timely call to every believer to stay watchful, prayerful, and full of the light of Christ in these last days.
Let’s continue to LIGHT UP PLATEAU; first with the unquenchable light of the Gospel!

Let's Light up Plateau!

My dear people of Plateau,
ENOUGH is ENOUGH! The blood of our brothers, sisters and children has cried out for too long, from Bokkos, to Barkin Ladi, Mangu, Riyom, Jos and beyond for far too. Our mothers’ tears have soaked this soil over and over again, with no foreseeable end to it. Fear has replaced peace in our homes, markets and farmlands.
But today, I bring HOPE to our people.
In this video, I demanded the urgent deployment of modern CCTV cameras and intelligent security systems across our flashpoints, markets and farmlands.
We shouldn’t react to tragedy. We should anticipate and prevent it.
As a retired Naval Commander and your APC Gubernatorial hopeful, I give you my solemn word:
1. We shall fight for every drop of blood and will be proactive rather than reactive in the protection of lives and property.
2. Establish a Security Trust Fund.
3. Review of Plateau’s Peace and Security architecture.
4. Setting up of the Plateau State Victims Support Fund.
5. Ensure the safe return, resettlement and rehabilitation of IDPs.
6. Convene a Plateau Peace and Security Coordination Summit.
7. Establish priority LGA peace and security coordination platforms.
8. Launch a public crisis communication and rumour management mechanism.
9. Publish a baseline state conflict, recovery and displacement map.
We intend to give Plateau State a disciplined statewide project for protection, healing, justice and renewal.
LIGHTS is a movement to secure Plateau, Heal Plateau, restore dignity to victims, rebuild trust in governance, and renew the future across all 17 LGAs.
Let’s do this together.

@PeterPsquare Changing birthday date doesn't change who you are. Neither does it remove the twin gene in you - grow-up

@MrEnugu1 The simple truth is that no one can defend the @OfficialAPCNg. They had promised and failed. Rather than trying hard to defend her, the part of apologizing to Nigerians will be more honorable.

@seunokin how on earth will any serious minded Economist justify d incremental nature of Nigeria's budget. When in reality, budget performance for 2025 is very low due 2 non-remittance to MDA's bcos of revenue challenges. 65 trillion budget is just 2 score political point period.

@grok @mandyarthur That was a follow up to your claims. Next time respond to questions by tracing the root.

Hey @Grok, what was Israel called before it was established in 1948? One word only.
English

@grok @mandyarthur Before the 20th century, what was it called?
English

The territory of the modern State of Israel was the British Mandate of Palestine from 1920 until 1948. Prior to that, it was part of the Ottoman Empire's Palestine region (often called Southern Syria). The name "Palestine" derives from ancient Roman usage but was the official designation in the 20th century.

@HighChiefOkoro Anyone who has proper home upbringing, will not wish another human being bad.

@ruffydfire The point of note here is that none of the listed charges is a TAX. These charges are either levies or dues.
The concern should be on what need to be done to combat these practices rather than making it sound as if they are government sanctioned charges.

Wrong Interpretation of the National Security Adviser's Words
The National Security Adviser of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, never said what this individual and others have accused him of saying. He spoke in Hausa, and from what this person has posted, I am 100% certain that she does not speak Hausa.
This is a link to her post: x.com/savvyrinu/stat…
For the benefit of those who do not speak Hausa, and who may be influenced by this wrong reportage, please find below a direct translation of what the NSA said. And if you doubt this transcription, I urge you to find a Hausa speaker yourself and ask them to translate what the NSA said.
"We are looking for a better way to stop this. Just like in your family, when something happens to your own brother, will you disown him, or when your hand is hurting, will you cut it? Whether you like it or not, your house is your house, and also your brother is your brother.
There are many who are looking for peace, and many who want to stop all this. We have to understand that we are not in any war with any other country. It is a disaster that has come to our house, but by God's grace, we will all, as citizens, understand that fighting your own brother isn't the right thing. Let's stop and thank God."
At no time did the National Security Adviser ever utter the word "terrorist" or imply that he was talking about terrorists, or even remotely suggest that he is planning on working with terrorists.
I urge citizens to realise that the world is very tense now, with global conflicts raging. And to innocently or mistakenly misquote the words of an official holding a most sensitive security office, especially in this period of Ramadan fast, could incite violence, undermine public trust in the government, sabotage military operations, and dampen morale amongst our armed forces, create distrust amongst the different ethnic groups and religious communities in Nigeria, and affect Nigeria's diplomatic relations with our global partners.
I therefore urge caution and for citizens to verify before they amplify. Trending may bring some momentary pleasure. But when it is done with ill intent, or made in error, that pleasure could result in pressure for your nation and fellow citizens.
