Here's a difference between the #Army and the #Marines: For the #USMC, being in "The Corps" is all-important, regardless of your individual unit. For the Army, the pride comes from your community - airborne, Rangers, cavalry, etc. "The Army" is simply too large to embrace

@RepRibble Band is great because you follow 1 Company. Pacific is a difficult follow because the 3 main characters didn’t even know each other let alone serve in the same units. I watched Pacific a 2nd time and appreciated it much more. I cry like a baby when Sledge is hunting with his dad.

@MikeRGlenn As an Army guy I agree with this. The Marine Corps has a “special sauce” for sure. I’m always impressed with Marines that I interact with. I always say “I’ve never met a Marine that doesn’t look like a Marine.”

Many creators will leave X soon. Nikita Bier is destroying X. Creators invested 4 to 5 years of hard work on X but what does X do. It pauses their payouts without clear reasons and suspends accounts. When creators submit an appeal they often receive only an automated response. Do creators really deserve this? Take the example of @TheFigen_. She has 2.5M+ followers. I’m a huge fan because she works very hard and posts great content that makes people laugh and smile. Yet her payouts are close to nothing. The same thing is happening with small creators. They post good content. Become eligible for monetization. Then suddenly their accounts get paused or suspended. Appeals receive automated responses. This is very wrong. Slowly creators will start leaving X’s platform. X should take positive actions to improve this system. All creators deserve transparency. Fair treatment. And real human support. Not just automated responses.

I've had this @BenchmadeKnives for about 20 years now. Its been to numerous countries with me. Its been with me everyday, used in every way and only recently, after I bent the clip and now it barely stays in place have I decided to look at new ones. Sad day.
