I swear Dam Battlegrounds is full of PvP only players 😭 But as you climb the map ladder, it seems like you see more and more friendly/helpful raiders (especially in Blue Gate) 🤔

@Hypn033 @ARCRaidersGame I’m highly doubtful of that. If they only redistribute who gets selected to late-join a raid, im sure the difference in queue time will be negligable. I see where you’re coming from with the tarkov comparison, but you have to remember that tarkov is horribly coded 🤣

@tachikomatose @AbneyDude @EmbarkBulletin Thats better than the reverse, where you never see the free kit player at all because they spawned fresh, looted all the good sht and left before you even entered the game. Plus if im fully geared and a free kit manages to kill me at extract, good on them lol thats the game.

@AbneyDude @EmbarkBulletin this'll just encourage more pvp behaviour for free loadout players. why bother looting when you can camp an elevator and gank someone who's been looting for 20 minutes?

Should the free loadouts in ARC Raiders be tweaked? Be it a cool down or only being allowed a certain amount of uses per day?

@AbneyDude @EmbarkBulletin literally, especially in night raids. If you spawn in at 17:40 on a night raid, there are 2 extracts open and one of them is across the map and about to close. Even resetting instantly can be risky and its not enjoyable but its literally the best option 😭

@EmbarkBulletin Keep it unlimited, but make free kits get the late spawns. Not risking anything and getting best spawn times for loot spots is OP right now. Nothing worse than bringing a fat kit and spawning in at 18. Might as well reset at that point.

@EmbarkBulletin Free loadouts are fine but they should only join late raid. The fact that free loadouts can spawn into a fresh raid, loot hot spots, and literally extract before multiple custom loadout players spawn in is really really bad. Not gamebreaking, games amazing, but thats gotta change

@kerbos76 @Ex0dus24 cant compare the destiny alpha from 2013 to this SECOND Marathon test in 2025. What we see now is what the majority of the game will be, minus a few “shells,” weapons, maps & menu items. The core of the game sucks and whatever else they add onto the game wont change that lol

Who knew Marathon, an FPS extraction shooter would be this terrible compared to Arc Raiders, a TPS extraction shooter. It’s insane. Marathon feels like a worse version of Apex Legends, yet Arc Raiders is the closest thing to The Cycle: Frontier that we’ll probably ever see.

@kerbos76 The game is a boring extraction version of Apex Legends. Gun play sucks, ability & weapon balancing sucks, movement is alright but the heat system sucks. It’s just not going to hold a candle to Arc Raiders unfortunately. Extraction shooters should not be hero-esque.

@nahwitnojuice @MarathonDevTeam the game feels like an extraction version of Apex legends - with worse movement mechanics, clunky gunplay & unbalanced character abilities (which btw will never be balanced because that’s just the nature of hero-esque shooters). Its not fun & Arc Raiders wins in every category.

@nahwitnojuice @MarathonDevTeam I dont think you’re correlating it correctly. People are getting the chance to play, then realizing its terrible - myself included. The first playtest was fun & had potential, but this playtest is showing just how little they’ve thought balancing through, and it sucks. simple as.
