@Prince_NedNwoko I support you my senator because beyond all the noise and issues I can see your vision and competence in driving the development and growth of our people. Nevertheless I wish you could just focus on own election and leave the others to campaign for themselves. You are for us 🙏

As we approach 2027, I speak to you with clarity and purpose. My message remains simple: consolidation, continuity, and sustained representation. The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already steering our nation toward recovery and long-term growth. These reforms demand consistency, discipline, and leadership that is committed to seeing them through. Here in Delta State, the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori continues to deliver meaningful development expanding opportunities, strengthening peace, and improving the quality of life across our communities. I have remained fully committed to serving with dedication, courage, and results-driven representation. Yet, the journey is not complete. By the grace of God and with the continued trust of my people, I will return to the Senate in 2027 to consolidate the progress we have made, deepen ongoing development efforts, and ensure that the voice of Delta North remains strong, respected, and effective at the national level. Together, we will move forward with unity, strength, and a shared commitment to a better future for all.

@uch3_D_Fanatik Nice draw and am very happy with the teams, they will play with motivation against Korea and France because of the last qualifiers. All the best and its now compulsory to watch their friendlies to see how the new players blends and enhances their overall game and weakness.

@emmakelechi @uch3_D_Fanatik We were seeded in port 2 which was nice for us, I think they use the world rankings to seed or some other criteria. This draw is favourable to us as long as we qualify by beating Korea and Hungary. Then we have to test our ability by aiming for a win with France.

@uch3_D_Fanatik I don't get how they do their draws...allocating teams like they wish. Nawa. At worst we should beat Hungary but I want us to revenge the loss to Korea. Don't know about France but we have a good shot to cause lot of upset

This are communities in Edo State, if we're Republic, this communities become State, and when it becomes a state, we'll be able to develop and make our country one of the finest among others. This one "Nigeria" is not working neither is it favoring us as Edo people.

Across West Africa, women sometimes owned slaves. This may have been more common in West Africa, since freewomen typically had property rights.

BAFANA BAFANA🇿🇦 QUALIFIED FOR FIFA WC 2026🤲🏽
I believe when SAFA started the HollywoodBets Super League they already got it wrong -The league from inception had too many teams Should've started small then expand -In my opinion, would've been better if had a regional system then have playoffs end of the season(NBA style)

@d_den1 @BigKensyn Before they could compete the local.leavues should be properly managed. We don't have a standard league and thats where the main problem lies.

@BigKensyn It is until the local league can compete with their fellow compatriots in Africa before they should be invited to d’tigress because we do not have local players developed enough to compete with the best players around the world in any competition.. till then, no invites 4 dem yet

I want homegrown talent to thrive, and be invited to the national team. But let’s be honest the system isn’t giving them enough games to stay competitive. League last ran last year… so how many are truly in top shape for D'Tigress? It doesn’t add up
Bamba 🇸🇳@frajatta92

Heres a take of @nmesomachendo on the current realities of the D'Tigress 🇳🇬 in terms of player selection, pathway for home talent and what it means to represent Nigeria. Is this current criteria for selection a sustainable pipeline or will it have it's own shortcomings?

@frajatta92 @nmesomachendo We need to improve the local industry and hopefully they perform in regional and continental competion. We can then pick promising talents from them and combine with talents from the diaspora. We don't have functioning leagues in all sports kn Nigeria.

@realbucketscout I was having this argument with some people few days ago and I hope they can see it now. The super falcons, super eagles and the dtigress excel because of foreign based players. Our league is not standard enough to support the clubs and junior teams. We have to improve local.

What Igboland Was Like Before, What It Should Have Become And What It Can Still Be. The economy of the former Eastern Region was planned from ground up by the US consulting firm Arthur D. Little Zik brought them and they worked with MI Okpara at first, then with Sam Otti and Eluwa who headed the Civil Service and later with Louis Phillip Odumegwu Ojukwu who at the time was the Chairman of the Eastern Nigeria Development Corporation (ENDC)

@afrisagacity Thats how they do in European countries as well, sharing of flyers and pasting posters around. The candidates even the presidential candidates also stand on the streets or malls to share flyers. There is no tsunami rally or 1 million man march for this party or candidate.

@winexviv What needs to be done is to give students loans that they will payback after their studies. So that they can pay for their hostels themselves and privatise the hostels providers to charge for the quality they provide. Education is not cheap, it needs funding or pay for service

I think we will have to take up this UNN hostel matter. I’m aware that this year alone N100 billion was released to 40 federal universities for the purpose of hostels. The university also charges hostel fees. Our students can’t be living in conditions worse than prisons.

@abuotor @TheNWFL @NGSuper_Falcons @NigeriaPFL Yes that's true but if possible privately owned clubs. This will benefit the super falcons alot and also our continental performances. My suggestion is to reduce the top two level to 8 teams, 12 for the men's leagues and mandate the clubs to have both a male and female team.

@TheNWFL can be fixed faster than the @NigeriaPFL. They need 2-3 super clubs to boost the league. France and Spain's national teams have players from mostly 2 clubs. We need 2-3 clubs well structured and playing at a very high level. Better to have 3 high level clubs than 8 average teams

@TheNWFL players find it difficult to break into the @NGSuper_Falcons team these days. What if they create 1–3 super teams like Sundowns and AS FAR, where all the best players in the country are concentrated in 1-3 clubs? In the @TheNWFL, the best players are currently spread across 6–7 different teams. A club like @RemoStarsLadies could sign most of the top talents and become a true super team. If the top 10 teams in the 🇿🇦 league played the top 10 teams in the 🇳🇬 league, realistically the Nigerian league teams would win at least 6+ of those matchups. For example: 🔸Edo Queens 🇳🇬 vs 🇿🇦 Sundowns 🔸Bayelsa Queens 🇳🇬 vs 🇿🇦 JVW 🔸Rivers Angels 🇳🇬 vs 🇿🇦 TS Galaxy 🔸Nasarawa Amazons 🇳🇬 vs 🇿🇦 🔸Fort Hare etc. Benefits 🔸 Greater chance of CAF Women’s Champions League dominance 🔸Improved visibility for @TheNWFL players 🔸Better team chemistry for the super falcons with those players from the super clubs becoming the core of the @NGSuper_Falcons (8+ @TheNWFL players from the 2-3 super clubs in the @NGSuper_Falcons squads), just as Rivers Angels use to produce 8-11 players for the super falcons in the past. @TheBey0nder

@TheBey0nder @abuotor @TheNWFL @NGSuper_Falcons My brother the trend will keep getting worse and we continue to rely on foreign based players for the super eagles and super falcons. I did not say we rely on them for all age based but only the topmost level. This is the same thing happening with our female basketball too.

@BPharoh @abuotor @TheNWFL @NGSuper_Falcons It's not the same thing, the Nigerian women's league produces 100% percent of the u20 and u17, not to mention that all of the Nigerian born players(minus okoronkwo) all started their professional football journey at the nwfl, the problem is they don't tend to stay long in the nwfl

@TheBey0nder @abuotor @TheNWFL @NGSuper_Falcons We are almost saying the same thing, they do not stay in the local.league for financial reasons and because the league is mismanaged. Most players in morocco and South African earn a decent wage and their leagues are well managed. So no incentive to go abroad by any means.
