At some point, $LUNC will need huge burns or time.
It’s simple math: there is a market cap ceiling somewhere. But with burning, we don’t have to reach a huge market cap like $40B+; we can reach $0.01 or more with a smaller market cap thanks to burning.
Now imagine when $LUNC joins the top 50 and then the top 30 cryptos in the world.
The volume will be insane, maybe even $500M or more daily. This is where it gets interesting. We will be burning so many tokens that the price will keep increasing while the market cap stays the same. This means there’s no ceiling for LUNA Classic.

@YuteMcSpod @wonky_veg @thetrainline Indians on chat support, pretending to speak your language using AI translation, copy pasting corporate BS about how they understand your frustration, while not solving your problem just like an AI chatbot.

@wonky_veg @thetrainline Is there anything worse than an AI chatbot…

@lopp @sharpone74 Please warn us when it will be up for debate so we can reject it at the appropriate time.

@sharpone74 They're rejecting a ghost; it's not even up for debate at the moment. Slow news day, I guess.

Thoughts on BIP-361:
* I know folks don't like it. I don't like it myself. I wrote it because I like the alternative even less.
* It isn't a spec, nor is it proposed for activation. It's a rough idea for a contingency plan that needs more R&D.
* I hope it never needs to be considered for adoption.
* Ultimately, my thesis is that in the face of existential threat, individual economic incentives outweigh philosophical principles.

Le tournage est prévu cet été, dans les Bouches-du-Rhône, pour une diffusion prévue la saison prochaine.
Mais quels acteurs vont accepter d'incarner Dominique Pélicot et Gisèle Pélicot ?

President Clinton gets a new computer for the Oval Office. The first web page he visits is The White House’s site.
The White House launched its official website, WhiteHouse.gov, in October 1994, making it one of the earliest government sites on the internet. During the Clinton administration, the federal government began expanding its digital presence, using the web to publish speeches, policy updates, and public information directly to citizens.
At the time, internet access in the United States was still limited, fewer than 20% of Americans were online in the mid-1990s. Early web pages were simple, text-heavy, and slow to load compared to modern standards, but they marked a major shift in how governments communicated with the public.
Clinton’s adoption of internet technology in the Oval Office reflected a broader push toward modernization and digital transparency in government operations.
By the end of Clinton’s presidency in 2001, roughly 50% of U.S. households had internet access, illustrating the rapid growth of the web during that decade.

No one ever said we “lost the technology” to go back to the Moon.
That’s not what Don Pettit said in a 2016 interview.
What he actually said was:
“I’d go to the Moon in a nanosecond. The problem is we don’t have the technology to do that anymore. We used to, but we destroyed that technology and it’s a painful process to build it back again.”
And the honest response to that is:
So what?
He said this decades after the Apollo program - after we had already gone to the Moon six times and landed twelve men on the surface.
His comment has absolutely no bearing on whether those missions happened.
What he meant is straightforward:
The factories were shut down.
The tooling and molds were scrapped.
The materials became obsolete.
The engineers and technicians moved on.
The contractors moved on.
We didn’t lose the physics.
We didn’t forget how rockets work.
We lost the industrial ecosystem that made something like the Saturn V possible at that moment in time.
You can’t just snap your fingers and build another one.
That’s all he meant.
By 2016, we had:
• gone to the Moon 6 times
• landed 12 humans on its surface
• built and operated over 10 space stations
• maintained a permanently inhabited laboratory in orbit for over 15 years - the International Space Station (later joined by China’s crewed station, Tiangong space station)
…and that’s when he said it’s a painful process to build it back again.
So again:
That quote clearly doesn’t mean what they pretend it means. Gotta Lie To Deny

@Fly_Airlink You are a shit airline and I'm going to sue you. Your plane turned around and landed back in JNB and now you are providing no food or accommodation, just left us for dead in the terminal. You will pay for that.
English

Worst example of enshitification of a company is @bookingcom
Used to have excellent customer service back in 2016/2017, now they leave you for dead anywhere in the world.
English

@bookingcom You abandoned me in a foreign country by cancelling my flights and you refuse to refund it fully. Fucking piece of shit company.
10 years of being a loyal customer. I'm done, and I will encourage everyone I know to do the same.
Fuck you!

@michelleolipha1 And to be clear, the UTXOs are the pieces of bread that are added to your wallet each time you receive BTC in a transaction.
Your wallet "contains" a collection of UTXOs.
English

@michelleolipha1 Filling your wallet with BTC is not like filling a liquid tank. It's more like adding a piece of bread in a basket, one for each transaction.
Come the day you want to move (spend) it. It's more difficult (costly) to move a collection of breadcrumbs than one solid piece of bread.
English

@michelleolipha1 If a breadcrumb is too small, it might cost more (money or energy) to move it than the breadcrumb is worth.
Don't make too small transactions (<0.005 BTC?) onchain.
When fees are low, you can consolidate your UTXOs by sending your full balance to yourself.
