@esaagar Oh really? Not the criminals let out of jail by leftist judges, not the politicians that have been wholly corrupted, not the declining dollar or our fractured community- it’s the guy smoking a joint in the park. Ok bud

Everything irritates me lately, but this worldview especially irritates me. It is only possible to hold this worldview if you measure [quality of life] by [availability of material goods]. This is not a functional way to measure that because it conflates inner life with outer life. What this means is that material conditions do not result in quality of life by themselves. If you don't understand what I mean by that, Imagine that you have a big mouthful of dog shit. What is your quality of life? Are you having a good time or not? Now imagine that you are a fly. Are you having a good time now? Do you see how something that is very bad for you is very good for the fly? It's the same material condition. It's happening to a very different being. It's a very different quality of life. Everybody has a smartphone. We get packages delivered by drones. AI writes essays for us. Amazon delivers everything you need to live in 2 days. Material conditions are great, but everyone is miserable. Why would that be? According to taoki, it's your fault. You chose to be miserable. It is your brain or your mind or your choices making misery out of a good thing. After all, look how many Amazon deliveries you get! Look how many flavors of Doritos you can choose from! Life is good! But for someone like me, wealth doesn't do much at all for my quality of life. It definitely does something! I am by far richer than I have ever been, and I prefer it this way. But it doesn't solve my biggest problems, and if you zoom out far enough, it becomes clear that the availability of wealth is a major cause of my biggest problems. It is not a secret that I do not like immigration from africa, india, South and Central america, and other such places. I consider it my biggest problem. Would all of that be happening without such availability of wealth? Without the technology? The airplanes? The computers? The money that can be transferred from phone to phone in an instant? Of course not. In any time before we had all of those things, millions of Indians or Africans coming to your country would be met by the national Army. I saw my world changing starting in the 2000s. The problems we have today were evident back then, but I didn't suspect they would get this bad. In the last 20 years, I have seen everything I value and everything that makes sense to me be replaced by something crude, inferior, dangerous, dirty, unwelcome, hostile, threatening. Instead of local families having Springtime events in the streets, Muslims gather shirtless and slap their chests in a war display. Instead of a corporate culture that values performance, myself and everybody like me is turned away by the job market in favor of foreign races, alternative sexualities, and women who may or may not be competent. Who cares? They're women. Music is gone. Culture is gone. Movies are worse than ever. Because we live in the "BEST OF ALL TIMES," (according to taoki), there is nothing left for me to belong to. Especially not where I grew up, or in any of the places that people usually move to from there. I could not deal with how uncomfortable that made me, so I ran away. I made a lot of money and I bought a big beautiful house in the middle of nowhere. The house is just about perfect (except for the repairs) and the view is so nice I unconsciously stare at it every day to recharge my battery. It's a gem, and I'm lucky to have it. But every day, I wake up and I remember that I am here because I could not be where I wanted to be, because where I wanted to be is gone. It's having its "BEST OF TIMES." There are naked tribal people in the Amazon who are happier than me because they know what to do and where to go and who their friends are. They don't have to think about it. Watch out for people who think that life is good because there is a lot of stuff. Sometimes that means other values have not even occurred to them.

My "Roman Empire is the realization that my life is a lottery win. Somewhere in Sudan, Pålestine, iran, Afghanistan, Iraq or Congo, there is a boy smarter than me. He is more disciplined, more resilient, and holds more potential in his single finger than I do in my entire career. The only difference? I am siting in a train and he is sting in the rubble of his dreams. My "bad days" are his wildest dreams. My "burnout" is a luxury he can't afford because his only job is staying alive. It's geographical luck and it's a haunting injustice that we all refuse to acknowledge and look away

@BjorkBrodern Here (Michigan) most people only do this with fenceposts or if its supports for a shed or something. Decks and the like get tubes and a bracket usually. I dont cement fence posts tho, thats a whole nother discussion/argument😂

I keep seeing American DIY instructions where they pour a concrete foundation for *anything* and then place wooden posts in them, Im starting to think it is bait or some typ of elaborate hoax. Surely it can't be an actual construction technique?

We should not stop bombing anything. I worry that you guys don't understand what is happening right now. "Oh, I don't like the way Trump phrases that". Dude, fuck off. How would you phrase it to scare a death cult into a cease fire? Jesus help us. "We call balls and strikes", oh good, you're sooo moral and wonderful. No, we destroy them and everyone helping them, and we take the chains off our own hands and those of our allies in order to do it. You would have hated being alive during the revolutionary war, the world wars, or biblical times, sweetie pie. Washington executed a surprise attack on Christmas morning. Ball or strike? We firebombed Dresden and nuked Nagasaki. Ball or strike? God told the Israelites to slaughter entire cities. Ball or strike? Teddy Roosevelt encouraged his sons to fight in WW1. Ball or strike? Do you care more about American lives and success, or your precious little naive personal concepts of morality? Are they bombing Lebanon? Or terrorist cells in Lebanon? Maybe they know some things you don't? I think your libertarian bent puts you dangerously close to a psyop that leads to brain melting jew hatred and pacifism. Israel is one of the good guys in a long fight against islamism, and they should fight to the death against any supporter of islam's global aims. Israel is our caliphate buster proxy in a long, long proxy war against global Islamism coming soon to a small town near you.

If you think my statement below is wrong, tell me why. Israel should stop bombing Lebanon and give this peace process a chance to work. We call balls and strikes with Israel just like with President Trump. This really isn’t hard.

We didn't get a forever war. You weren't drafted to die for Israel. Gas didn't go to $6 a gallon. We didn't put boots on the ground. We didn't get a flood of refugees. None of your predictions came true. And yet none of you will admit you were wrong.
