Oasis are the actual biggest band of all time. Nobody comes close. The generational reach, the influence on pop culture, spanning 3 decades. The hysteria surrounding their gigs and all of their songs. There is no band ever, who have come close to this and never will again.

@PaulFulford It’s a really bizarre phenomenon. They have been lionised in the last 20 years despite hardly anyone having bought a black sabbath album. Mainly because Ozzie became a cultural icon via the US tv show and his missus. See also Lemmy and Motörhead. Daft & I quite like Sabbath!
