Yeah, leftists want their creature comforts more than they want to live amongst their failed social experiments. It makes them feel less confident to see evidence of their mistakes. They have to remain "winners" though, so they have no problem taking their same strategies and social biases with them to "win" over the quaint communities that they move in to.

The inability or unwillingness to take the money out of the protest industry is one of my biggest disappointments with this administration. Yeah, there's a lot of "grass root", old fuck retirees and young college tards out there eager to jump on the virtue signal train at every chance, but there is a crap load of money being directed into incentivizing, organizing and amplifying these things. Yeah, there's 1A freedom, but there's also this racketeering angle: money is being bundled for the express purpose of obstructing legitimate law enforcement efforts. We were somehow able to track down every J6 protestor and throw the book at them, but we can't muster anywhere near that energy at clamping down on the leftist mob money trains.

I'll start the convo. If a judge opts to release a criminal back into society and that criminal hurts someone else, whether it is violent or even just criminal, say robbery, then that judge should experience the very same treatment. Or, at least a portion of it. I understand that judges have to make complex decisions for large numbers of people and each decision brings risk, but I think it's way past time to help them update their priorities.

We used to hang armed robbers. And there was basically zero disagreement over whether that was the right thing to do. You threaten someone’s life to rob them of their property, you forfeit your own life. It was a system that worked for thousands of years. Now we cannot even hold armed robbers in jail pending trial. During which time the charges are likely to be reduced or dismissed entirely. We need to have a very serious and uncomfortable discussion about how we got here. Because it happened very quickly and we are not better off for it.

It's hard to say, but I'm starting to think Trump is less and less MAGA every day. He has fought an incredible uphill battle all the way, and I'm starting to think he's just too worn out at this point to keep up the fight in any serious manner. Say whatever you want. Certainly, the availability of resources ebbs and flows, depending upon the resource. I just take issue with this tone that many people have that in order to be good people, we have to constantly expand our resources to accommodate the needs of those who don't already have ownership of them. It's the "There will always be more room and resources somehow because... well, technology and stuff." argument. PS saying "full stop" doesn't add weight to your argument. It just adds aggression.

America needs life—and more lives! Governments have no business telling people to have more kids, but wherever possible—and especially when facing rapidly declining birth rates—they should avoid policies that needlessly make having children more difficult and expensive.

Rent is always sensitive to available inventory. It's one of those inelastic resources. Sure, there are lots of empty spaces out in low pop'n areas, but urban areas can't just magically pop out new inventory when the demand dramatically escalates as has been the case prior to Trump '24. Infrastructure (schools, hospitals, transportation, etc) also has expansion limits. To pretend that "resources are always expanding" without acknowledging the stress it places upon communities is willful and irresponsible blindness. Technology is amazing, but there are certain basic things that can't be just teched into existence without serious sacrifice of investments. Opportunity costs. Do you think money itself is infinite? That's what produces inflation.
