@mitchellvii Currently their platform is simple: Whatever Trump says or does… they are for the opposite. Saw a political ad on TV today for an Oregon Dem. I counted FOUR times she mentioned Trump by name in HER ad!!!

Here's the thing I'm trying to understand. All of these polls and prediction markets claiming Democrats will roll in November but they don't even have a platform! Do you know the Democrat 2026 platform? I don't. No one does.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump TERMINATED the Obama-era mandate that pushed auto start-stop systems into vehicles. You know the one. You stop at a red light. Your engine shuts off. Every. Single. Time. Doesn’t matter if you hate it. Doesn’t matter if it wears down the starter.

@MagaHunter @JfkPascalNajadX Same backward-ass logic used by Libs. Indirect mandates still have the same effect. For auto makers, “do this or lose a credit” equals a fine. So the feature is passed on to the consumer who has no choice.

The auto stop-start feature in cars was not directly mandated by the Obama administration, but rather promoted through a 2012 EPA incentive program that allowed automakers to earn credits toward greenhouse gas emission standards. While technically a voluntary choice, these credits incentivized manufacturers to make the feature standard on many vehicles.

@NovemberTwoKilo @MikeyDiMercurio I served on a CGN (ET2/SW Nuke). The failing is the Navy (via Congressional funding) didn’t update the CGN platform with modern technology: Aegis, VLS, helo hanger. Refits were too cost prohibitive. But nothing beats steaming beside a carrier at 30+ kts across the Atlantic!
