This afternoon, hundreds of antivax protesters blockaded Flemington Rd & made it difficult & traumatic for sick kids, their families & the staff to get to RCH. I am disgusted beyond words at their ignorance & malice. You are beneath contempt.

@DrJaneMunro @ian_hickie There is a serious discrepancy in expectation of how much we should pay for things. Some people are happy to pay $200-$300 for a hair colour but are reluctant to pay too much out of pocket for their amazing General Practioners.

I’ve been watching this play out & @ian_hickie it’s not ok. During the pandemic Australia’s GPs have been the absolute engine room of our health response, are woefully underpaid & are beyond exhausted. They’re our frontliners AND do the bulk of MH work. We must support them.

I perform ultrasound guided hip joint injections. This ultrasound demonstrates instability- “when the hip translates in the physiological range. This is a 17 year old with symptomatic borderline dysplasia. LCE -19, 10 degree sourcil angle, labral tear. US can be a very useful
