Hello @LCFC I’m Olaogun, a winger also played as a striker from Nigeria. I’ve spent the last 3 years training daily to get one shot at professional football. I’m not asking for a contract. I’m asking for 7 days on trial to show you what I can do. If I’m not good enough, I’ll walk away with no hard feelings. I’m fast, direct, and I work harder than anyone on the pitch. My highlights are here: @Olaogun9" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@Olaogun9 Thanks, Olaogun |

@LegacySiu I've gone through the comments to see Angel Di Maria mentioned, but nobody did that. You're all talking about Gernarcho and Martinez.

This is not true. Nothing like this happened. The Governor did not ask anyone to drop their ambition. Infact, the Gov. gave me a special recognition by inviting me to be among the speakers at the event. For your information, @TheoAbuAgada, you will never be successful with your evil agenda. If Allah (God) is with you, no evil plan will defeat you.

FLASH: Gombe state Governor, Inuwa Yahaya has asked Prof. Isa Ali Pantami to drop Guber ambition and support APC consensus candidate during a stakeholders meeting this night at the Gombe State Government House. Pantami according to sources, was not happy with this decision.

Minister Yusuf Tuggar will resign his appointment today to contest the Bauchi gubernatorial position. A number of ministers in the same position have been developing cold feet, he is going for it. - He worked without ambassadors for the 2.5 years he was minister. Found away around it. Strengthened a number of bilateral relationships despite that. - Helped to articulate Nigeria’s foreign policy. The 4Ds Agenda. - Regional Partnership for Democracy re-established Nigeria’s convening power. - The Ministry was quite responsive at moving Nigerians out of conflict zones. Solid alignment with NIDCOM here.

Blaming victims in the Boko Haram conflict distorts reality and weakens response. Boko Haram is not an external invading force. It emerged from within, shaped by grievances and hardened by an intolerant ideology. That distinction matters. It means communities are not just bystanders; they are trapped inside the conflict. Across the North East, in the past 16 years, civilians have supported military operations at great personal risk. The pattern is clear. Troops deploy, locals cooperate. Then the troops withdraw. Insurgents return. Communities are punished. Mass killings, beheadings, executions for alleged collaboration. You cannot ask unarmed villagers to stand up to insurgents when the state cannot sustain protection. Here is the hard truth: - Civilians are being exposed without long-term security cover - Military presence is too thin for the conflict landscape and population size - Intelligence is fragmented and underutilised in battlefield decisions. The implication is severe. You create cycles of retaliation. You discourage cooperation. You strengthen insurgent control through fear. This is not just a Nigerian military problem. It is a Nigerian systems failure. What needs to change: - Scale intelligence-driven operations, not just troop deployments - Integrate DSS deeply into field operations, not as an afterthought or as they are being involved in politics and VIP protection - Strengthen military intelligence for real-time decision making - Align force levels with the scale of territory and threat - Stop blaming communities. They are not the weak link. They are the most exposed part of this war. - Reduce the transactional culture in recruiting and promoting security personnel. Create real incentives for them to serve and fight. Improve welfare. Provide consistent psychosocial support. Recognise performance in visible ways. Ensure full and timely payment of gratuities and pensions at retirement.

@ShehuSani Resilience. History has it that the Persians are one of the most resilient humans on earth. They stick to what they believe is right and will do everything humanly possible to stand independent of other nations in almost everything they do. They are very spiritual too

How did a nation under sanctions for 47 years achieved over 90% literacy rate; How did they achieved 98% literacy rate for their female citizens? How were they able to build an advanced health care system? How were they able to build a formidable military force? How were they able produce top class scientists and build a strong scientific base? How were they able to provide their people with uninterrupted electricity despite sanctions? How were they able to build and run refineries despite sanctions? Which country on Earth can achieve this under wars and sanctions? Why are those nations not under sanctions unable to achieve their feats?

Despite the fact that the #HumAngleTracker recorded a 3.8% decrease in security incidents, we noticed a 30% increase in the number of deaths linked to violence and conflict. How did the numbers go from 481 in January to 624 in February? Take a look: humanglemedia.com/wp-content/upl…

Tope A teacher & A Farmer I Will Never Give Up 💪)
I went to a restaurant to eat. After I finished my meal, my bill came up to ₦18,200. I made the first payment, but before the transaction could conclude, their POS machine suddenly went off. They quickly brought another POS, and that one went through successfully. Or so I thought. Later that evening, I received two debit alerts. Both payments had actually gone through. So instead of paying ₦18,200, I had paid ₦36,400. The next day, I went back to complain. They told me the accountant wasn’t on seat but that they would check and get back to me. I said, “No wahala,” and left. One week passed. No call. No refund. I went back again. This time, they checked properly and confirmed that yes, both payments went through. But again, the accountant was “not on seat.” I told them that this accountant’s seat must be extremely hot because the person is never there. They asked me to drop my account details for a refund. I did and left. Fast forward to yesterday. Still no refund. I went back to the restaurant and asked why my money hadn’t been sent. They told me I had “just missed” the accountant and that the refund would be processed shortly. Alright. Since I was already there, I ordered food to eat and also got takeout. After I finished, they asked how I wanted to pay—POS or transfer? I looked at them and said, “Who will I pay when the accountant is not on seat? Who will collect the money?” The lady replied, “The accountant doesn’t need to be here for that. We can all use the POS.” “Okay,” I said calmly. “How much is my total?” “₦18,500.” I smiled. “You people are owing me ₦18,200. If you deduct it from this ₦18,500, that means I’m owing you ₦300.” She shook her head. “We can’t deduct it like that. You have to pay in full, and the accountant will refund you later.” I sighed. “So that means you people will arrest me, abi?” I dramatically placed both my hands on the table and said, “Please, handcuff me.” She tried to explain, “We account for everything we sell. If we don’t reconcile today’s payment, they’ll fine us.” I leaned forward. “Are you people owing me ₦18,200?” “Yes.” “And I’ve just eaten ₦18,500?” “Yes.” “So I’m owing ₦300. Simple maths. Case closed.” I carried my bag and stood up. Suddenly, one guy emerged from one corner like a movie character. “But even if we’re to deduct it,” he said, “you’ll still have to balance ₦300.” I turned slowly. “And you are…?” “I’m the accountant.” I screamed, “Ewooooo!” So the accountant has been on seat all along?

@yabaleftonline i think this shouldn't be a request by the coach, it should be the minimum he should get. He didn't raise the standards high, all he asked for was to make conditions favourable for him and his staff for the betterment of the team. They should give it to him please.
