Two days ago, Rida Awada from Jwaya was helping dig graves for those killed in Israeli strikes in south Lebanon. He did not know he was preparing his own. Yesterday, Israel killed him too. Today, he was buried in the very ground he helped open for others. Such is the reality buried beneath all the diplomatic language about “ceasefires” & “de-escalation.” Ordinary men preparing graves faster than the world can count the dead.

'There's no ceasefire': Sister of assassinated Hamas leader to The Grayzone On May 16, a missile from an Israeli drone slammed into a Gaza City residential apartment building late in the evening, killing 7 people and wounding 50. Among the dead is Izz al-Din al-Haddad, known as Abu Shuaib, the general commander of Hamas’ Al Qassam Brigades – effectively the leader of the resistance in Gaza. The assassination takes place amid a ceasefire which Israel has consistently violated, and which it has no intention of honoring. It is clearly aimed at weakening the resistance, while provoking it into open conflict as Israel bombards Southern Lebanon and edges once again toward war on Iran. Izz al-Din al-Haddad was considered a seminal figure in the advancement of Gaza’s armed resistance. The killing of this veteran is another test of the resilience of Hamas and its support base. At the funeral, The Grayzone spoke to Haddad’s sister, Umm Saeed Al-Haddad, inside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Mosque in central Gaza. Abel Bisrat, a U.S. graduate student on the flotilla to Gaza, was kidnapped by Israeli forces while attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to starving civilians in Gaza. His mother still has no answers. “He just wanted to bring food and medicine to the people of Gaza.” The flotilla carried doctors, aid workers, and peace activists, not weapons. Yet Israel intercepted them in international waters and detained those onboard. Meanwhile, U.S. officials and media figures try to smear humanitarian volunteers as “terrorist supporters” for refusing to stay silent during a genocide. Demand the immediate release of all flotilla participants. Humanitarian aid is not a crime.

I’m sorry but I still can’t get over this. Turning Point USA colluded with the Daily Mail to host a screening of the now “secret video” of Charlie naming Erika as his successor. This video is crucial. It was introduced to the public by Erika as Charlie’s dying wish: her takeover of the company. Erika CHOSE to walk out to Charlie’s alleged voice naming her as the CEO at Amfest, but stopped short of airing the video footage. Donors who were present say the audio is A.I., and that Charlie never uttered these words at the event in question. Turning Point is now gaslighting us—bringing in experts to secretly screen and report on the video while claiming its existence doesn’t even matter because Charlie had told his friends that’s what he wanted. WTF is going on?
