Never heard of this guy, but he got married in 2006....not 1966. Being gay was perfectly acceptable. His behaviour is no different to any other man cheating on his wife and kids. The poor aul 'I'm the only gay in the village' routine is to try and preserve a cheaters reputation.

Yes at times the eulogy can be lengthy but the congregation are invariably well known to the deceased and/or relatives. It's absoulately highly inappropriate to make an overt rebuke during the funeral Mass. It's the final farewell for a loved one. Appalling.
