Never heard of this guy, but he got married in 2006....not 1966. Being gay was perfectly acceptable.
His behaviour is no different to any other man cheating on his wife and kids. The poor aul 'I'm the only gay in the village' routine is to try and preserve a cheaters reputation.

@markd_85 @davecoughlan80 Don’t be ridiculous. Here is my say. He was cowardly and selfish.

@BarbaraDunne17 @davecoughlan80 With no due respect until you've been through it you don't get a say.

@markd_85 @davecoughlan80 Lots of people have issues and always will. Having no courage is no reason to destroy someone else’s life .

@davecoughlan80 It was legal but I wouldn't say we had reached full acceptance. And acceptance of ones own self is different from societal acceptance. If you've never had to deal with it then not sorry but you haven't a clue what you're talking about.

@Rydymymaohyd @Margare27461789 Enough then. Children were fainting. One of the relatives should have tried to ease him away sooner.

Yes at times the eulogy can be lengthy but the congregation are invariably well known to the deceased and/or relatives.
It's absoulately highly
inappropriate to make an overt rebuke during the funeral Mass.
It's the final farewell for a loved one.
Appalling.

This is shocking, Irish funerals are sacred spaces for mourning and sharing memories,we don’t put a timer on them, the people of Ardee parish need to explain and remind this Italian priest to be more respectful, cutting someone off during reflection at such a vulnerable moment shows a shocking lack of empathy and pastoral sensitivity. #ArdeeFuneral

@Roisin_Garden Some gay men deliberately married women to enhance their careers. When jobs were scarce some employers favoured married men. It was purely selfish with no regard to the woman’s life they were destroying.

@BobFlavin Irish carrots are never available from mid-april to early July. We don't have the climate for reliable supply in those months.

@NoContextHumans Except I was hungry a lot of the time and cold. And there was corporal punishment in schools so there was that.

@Margare27461789 The patients probably coped on but who listens to them?
English

He worked in 20 different hospitals in Ireland and no one appeared to cop on that he had failed 'a medical competency assessment in the UK'
Is there any OVERSIGHT or MONITORING done by any Senior Medical Consultants over junior medical staff ?

@ThoughtCrimes80 Bitching about people who are going through a trauma seems to be a great hobby. Can anyone join?
