@PeterJ_Walker Some seeds are larger than others. For example here is the largest seed, the Coco De Mer

Funding round category fraud 😅 cmon now, is $20M really a pre-seed round? Business looks cool though
a16z@a16z

We’re excited to lead @wabi's $20M Pre-Seed round. Software has eaten the world, but there’s still so much software that doesn’t exist but should. Every person’s unique mix of lifestyle, needs, and preferences deserves its own unique software stack. One-size-fits-all apps can’t serve everyone. Wabi is building the first personal software platform: a creative super app where anyone can make lightweight, shareable AI mini-apps from natural language. Software creation should feel as easy, expressive, and custom as sending a text or posting online. @ekuyda is a veteran of using AI to build personalized software as the founder of Replika. She started working in this space long before AI apps were cool. Congrats to Eugenia and the entire Wabi team as they build the next phase of consumer software.

@TurnerNovak @omooretweets @pewresearch would need a big UX update imo. Vine had it down and TikTok improved on it. Shorts just doesn’t have the same feel. I think it’s mainly the sharing aspect. there are no DMs in YT, makes it feel way less fluid when you’re constantly sharing videos.

@omooretweets @pewresearch I think YT Shorts benefits the most. YouTube and TikTok are the closest comps to each other in terms of audience, and majority of TikTok creators will move there.

A majority of Americans now support a TikTok ban, according to @pewresearch. What happens to the social media landscape if this becomes reality? India, where the app was banned in 2020, is a good case study 👇

@KhorramKaveh There's only one opening for engineers. And that one seems to have been closed on LinkedIn.

@danprimack i’ve been wfh the past couple of weeks and i’d much rather be in office. 20 minute slack convos could be over in 2- minutes face to face. I could see certain roles being remote, but anything w lots of syncing is much faster in person.

It's kinda weird that someone who's about to be CEO of three different companies is insisting employees be on premise for at least 40 hours per week.
