@Diana_1776 @BarfBeeblebrox @MohammedAlo Don't let social media propaganda be your only information source. This is what happens when people who aren't trained in medicine try to play doctor. You cannot reverse diabetes. You can definitely improve it significantly, even to the point of getting off medications. But you did not cure type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is a genetic condition. You can improve it significantly at times with a lot of weight loss. It doesn't even matter how you lose the weight. You could eat pure sugar and lose weight and the diabetes still improves. If you are not trained in medicine you probably shouldn't be making wild claims and trying to tell a doctor how to do medicine. Maybe stick to your wellness spa grift.

OMG. Seriously? We reverse DM2 daily in our office. If a doctor tells you they can't---find one who can!!!

@Diana_1776 @MohammedAlo You only have about 13 years of 18 hrs/day education to go before you catch up to the average MD in his 1st year of private practice. You haven’t even taken your first baby step.

When did medical doctors cease applying the scientific method? My guess is about the same time, big pharmaceutical paid perks for prescribing meds instead of treating the root cause. Diabetes is not a disease. It is a symptom. Insulin resistance is not a disease, it is a symptom. Doctors should be required to take a course for design of experiments and root cause analysis along with engineers to learn how to apply the scientific method to medicine. For many people thes symptoms above go hand in hand with liver disease. Even reducing or eliminating carbs won’t cure T2D unless other sources of hepatotoxicity are eliminated, including alcohol use, NSAID use, as well as many Rx drugs for auto-immune diseases such as steroids, Anti-TNF biologics and methotrexate. The irony is that if inflammation is reduced or eliminated by eating low carb or carnivore diets, these medications may not be needed. But doctors and big Pharma can’t allow that to happen or else it impacts their revenue stream. When was the last time you, as a medical doctor, asked a patient what they ate or drank before you prescribed a medication? When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need. ~Ayurvedic proverb

@MohammedAlo Type 2 diabetes can be genetic and/or lifestyle related. Mostly it’s lifestyle. Before the pancreas (beta cells) is worn out from producing excess insulin due to insulin resistance…..Type 2 DM can be cured.

My son and I went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. We were the only two Black people. But it struck me as funny how you just know that some of these white people voted for mass deportations and they're stupid enough to trust the people they want deported to cook their food. 😂

By rejecting vaccines, you put others in danger. You reject decades of immunology, epidemiology, clinical trials, and real-world evidence involving billions of doses. You promote the idea that every hospital, university, regulator, and doctor on Earth is part of one giant conspiracy — while viruses, measles, polio, and whooping cough quietly come back. Vaccines are not perfect. But pretending infectious diseases disappeared on their own is historically illiterate. Modern medicine dramatically increased human life expectancy. The real danger is turning public health into a conspiracy theory.

When I started working on aging 25 years ago, the best longevity intervention was lifestyle. Today, after many breakthroughs and billions invested in longevity biotech, the best intervention is… lifestyle. When will we push longevity medicine forward?

@arunkumar3112 Insulin resistance > chronic high blood glucose > pancreatic beta cells ramp up insulin production > Over time the beta cells become worn out and produce less insulin (similar to Type 1 DM) The key is to catch it early and make lifestyle changes before pancreatic damage occurs

Type 2 diabetes can be fully controlled without medication. It's a dietary disease and can be reversed with dietary changes.

@CaimanVigilante @simonmaechling Americans are the fattest, sickest, most lazy, indulgent they have ever been, yet are living long lives? People should be happy they live in a time where modern medicine is there to help.

We trust pilots to fly us. We trust taxi drivers to drive us. We trust influencers selling detox recipes. But when scientists speak about vaccines, chemistry or pesticides, suddenly people reject expertise and think their internet search is equivalent to 20 years of research.

@LovemycountrySd @noMandatesTeach @simonmaechling An immediate and dramatic drop in morbidity/mortality that directly is proportional to the amt/timing of vaccine administration is valid proof. Immunity via previous infection/exposure occurs much more slowly in a population.

@noMandatesTeach @simonmaechling The Covid vax was introduced in mid Dec. 2020 while the disease rate was about 250,000/day (deaths 2400/day). By June of 2021 the disease rate had fallen to about 20,000/day (deaths 400/day). The vaccine was a success.

@PureSketch @holisticgrenade This is an opinion piece. In reality, there is a surgeon shortage in the USA, and projected to worsen significantly in the coming years. Most of us want less work, not more. I retired when I was 40 due to burnout. I could go back at any time, but I choose not to.

My only regret in life is the fact that I got my wisdom teeth pulled. It was more painful than breaking bones and I have never felt the same since. Before getting them pulled I had absolutely zero pain but the dentist told me if I did not get them pulled I would get a serious infection and die. If only I knew that he was just trying to profit off of me. If you still have your wisdom teeth you are extremely lucky and I hope that you never get them pulled.

@holisticgrenade I kept mine. Modern society only cares for cash. Surgeons get a kickback % so they are incentivized to do extra. Same with officers needing an arrest quota. It's all toxic in nature.
