Reception loved the snow, today! We wrapped up warm and had lots of fun outside, making snowmen and throwing snow balls! ❄️⛄️ @BarntonMrsF @BarntonMissR

Reception have been learning the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ and have enjoyed a wonderful visit from the mobile farm this morning. We loved spending time with the goats, sheep, chickens and rabbit. We even got to feed the goats! Ask us all about it! 🐏🐐🐓🐇 @BarntonMissR

We had a very special visit today from Mobile Farm Cheshire. We are looking at ‘The Little Red Hen’ as our text for literacy and enjoyed seeing some of the animals in real life. We got to stroke and feed them. The children loved it! 🐏☺️ @BarntonMrsF @BarntonMissR

We loved our bubble painting activity for maths this afternoon! We blew into the straw to make bubbles to create our own circle picture 🫧🌟 @BarntonMrsJA @BarntonMissP @BarntonMissR

In the provision today we have been looking at symbols that start with the sound ‘s’, we then traced over the words to work on our pencil control. 🤩 @BarntonMissR

We made some delicious cakes today, for Valentine’s Day! You did a great job at mixing the chocolate and adding the toppings. Yum! ❤️🧁 @BarntonMissR @BarntonMissP

The KS1 RP have absolutely loved the ‘Pancake Day’ sensory play today. They have had so much fun and got very messy. 🥞☺️🫣 @BarntonMissR @BarntonMissP
