In our history lesson, Year 2 linked their new learning with events and people they had previously learned about, and placed all of these on a timeline to see how they fitted in a chronological framework. Some brilliant observations were made! @BarntonMissR

What a fantastic day Year 2 have had, learning outside the classroom and stepping back into Tudor times! We have learned so much about the Great Fire of Nantwich and how it compares to the Great Fire of London, and so much more! Thank you so much Nantwich Museum @BarntonMissR

Today we took a group of children to experience the sports Boccia and New Age Kurling. So much fun was had. We can’t wait to play again @BarntonMissR @barntonMrJ @CWSchoolGames

A supermarket, coffee shop and a car wash have all popped up in the nursery garden this morning, great entrepreneurial skills on display @HavesMrs @BarntonMissR

Remember, remember the 5th of November! For Bonfire Night, we have been looking at the colours in fireworks and a bonfire, as well as the sounds we hear. We used our funky fingers to create a bonfire picture, exercising our hands in readiness for writing. @BarntonMissR

We had a very special visit today from Mobile Farm Cheshire. We are looking at ‘The Little Red Hen’ as our text for literacy and enjoyed seeing some of the animals in real life. We got to stroke and feed them. The children loved it! 🐏☺️ @BarntonMrsF @BarntonMissR

Reception have been learning the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ and have enjoyed a wonderful visit from the mobile farm this morning. We loved spending time with the goats, sheep, chickens and rabbit. We even got to feed the goats! Ask us all about it! 🐏🐐🐓🐇 @BarntonMissR

On Wednesday afternoon, we had a lovely visit from a representative of the Baha’i Faith. It was fascinating to learn about a Faith and their beliefs. 🌏🫶💭 @BarntonMissR @BarntonMissHL
