I am personally familiar with cancel culture. It has impacted almost every aspect of my life since 2014 in a variety of contexts. I have learnt we live in a world where truth has ceased to matter & truth that challenges preferred narratives gets you cancelled. My most recent experience of cancel culture was the conduct of the National Concert Hall I have previously referenced. I totally identify with the words of Roisin Murphy.

@BarryToft @ciarancannon This is precisely the problem. All of the resources are focused exclusively on speeding and nobody is enforcing any of the other aspects of road safety as a result. It's shocking.

I spoke at a road safety conference recently and a fellow panellist was arguing that the vast majority of motorists respect the rules of the road. That’s just not the case. Try driving at the speed limit, and see how many overtake or attempt to overtake you. Speeding is endemic.
