Don’t be shocked if you wake up and oil is $150 per barrel. ATH: July 11, 2008; oil traded at $147 per barrel (both WTI and Brent), that’s without a supply shock like today. The risk is clearly to the upside, shorts have been building, will be forced to cover at higher prices. Risks to equity, economy is greater than what’s being priced today.

@CoyoteUnclean @zerohedge I don't have the answers to all of that, but I know that when at least one of the Gulf Arab petro states invoked force majeur, traders immediately started buying all that could be delivered at the then-current rate. Brent is light sweet crude (low sulfur). WTI is sour crude.

@ExitLiqCapital Everything is predictable. The timing of Trump's announcement is not random. You just have to front run when you think Trump would actually make such a bullish announcement. He's got criteria by which you works. You just have to reverse engineer his criteria.
