A motion for preliminary approval of a settlement in Brantmeier v. NCAA was filed today, per docs obtained by @SBJ. The NCAA has agreed to pay $2 million in damages to the class plaintiffs. It will also revise its prize money rules to eliminate restrictions on such payments.
