The people in charge don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist. That's why Donald Trump's painting depicting himself as the Son of God offended the president of Iran. It was an attack on his religion as well as Christianity. Today's Morning Note newsletter covers Masoud Pezeshkian's condemnation of Trump's “desecration of Jesus,” the Iran War's gutting effects on America's housing market, Colombia's plan to murder Pablo Escobar's hippopotami, and more. It appears that @YVindman has illegally abused his office's ability to mail constituents about federal issues to instead electioneer in a state referendum. These allegations are a serious matter. They fit a pattern of waste, fraud, and abuse. Vindman should be immediately investigated by both the Congress and federal law enforcement, with exposed violations prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. No one has the right to abuse the public trust for private political gain.

Here’s Candace Owens repeatedly claiming she has “contacts” who live in Erika Kirk’s building feeding her information: “Because we’re everywhere. And we’re watching and we’re listening.” Only an utter psychopath would terrorize a completely innocent widow like this. Absolutely evil.

NEW: The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the alleged rape of Lonna Drewes by Eric Swalwell took place in July 2018 in the 900 block of Hammond Street. This comes back to the Montrose Hotel. Campaign finance expert @rpyers has flagged a travel expense from Swalwell’s campaign at the time, with FEC records showing “Swalwell for Congress” spent $361 in travel expenses at the Montrose Hotel on July 18th, 2018. H/T to Rob for the find.

Trump's erratic behavior and extreme comments revive an important debate on his mental health: As Trump threatens to wipe out Iran and attacks the pope, even some former allies and advisers are questioning whether he has grown increasingly unbalanced, describing him as "lunatic" and "clearly insane." nytimes.com/2026/04/13/us/…
