@mister_whistler Only way out is deleting social media and use it on weekends or something if you want to keep using it.

Brain rot has got so degen that I took 4 hours to finish a 2 hour movie. Hands keep reaching for phone, iPad, Macbook every 10 mins. Constantly refreshing slack, twitter within short intervals. Is there a rehab for this behaviour?

@soorajchandran_ I used to be in the similar boat but after our kid I can say that it is an experience. I do wish it was a bit sooner because they grow up while you are still young. and you can enjoy with them even more.

I've heard enough stories about having kids being the best thing in the world, and most people who had them wish they had done it earlier. Now, people who are childless by choice, and into their late 30s and 40s - how are you doing? How is life? (DMs welcome too).

@missingfaktor Yes :) but the goal of the post was that I prefer passing arguments and getting new data back rather then calling a method on a class

I think i've started to adopt the functional programming mindset more and more to other languages. For instance do I prefer to write the code as I do in the first example rather then using class methods as I do in the second image. I feel it's easier to follow the code this way
