@sebiisb I missed out on Netflix. But I did it with Tesla. I wanted a Tesla but before I would buy I bought $50k of stock and I had to double my money before I bought a car. I’ve since almost tripled my money and have enjoyed driving one for a year and a half already

People will happily pay $15 a month for a streaming service just to escape reality for a few hours. And they’ll do it for 10 years straight. But they won't buy a single share of $NFLX to actually build a reality they don't want to escape from. You are literally funding the empires that keep you sedated. Some things must come to an end in order for better things to begin. Cancel the distraction. Fund your exit.

@mickeyfromtheuk We walked in for lunch last year and had a really nice experience. Food is good, it’s not amazing write home about but it’s enjoyable. I also don’t think steak house 71 is all that good of a steakhouse.

🍽️ Wailulu - sadly not a fan. Starting with the positives, the restaurant itself is lovely - comfortable chairs and booths, and an incredible view of Magic Kingdom and The Contemporary that's hard to beat. The chicken wings were also very good. Perfectly crispy, meaty, with a nice sweet glaze - I'd have loved a tiny bit of heat, but they were the highlight of the meal. Everything else fell fairly flat. The short rib was interesting but not particularly enjoyable, and while the onion jam on the burger was a nice touch, the burger itself wasn't much better than a quick-service option. Whoever told us Wailulu's burger beats Steakhouse 71 is sorely mistaken 😂 The steakhouse 71 burger remains the best burger at Walt Disney World. The cocktails and drinks were also disappointingly weak for the prices charged. Overall, not an experience we'd repeat. Nothing was bad, just for us, it’s not worth the price. But at least the view and the wings were worth something. Wailulu bar & grill located in the new Polynesian Resort Tower.

@3KComeback My first was publix supermarkets. Why? Because I was 17 and I bagged groceries and stocked shelves for them and as a private company it was very easy for a 17 year old to buy in the 90’s without opening a brokerage account

What’s the best brokerage for someone new to investing?

@CarsonTalkMoney After looking at it again it was more like down 10% now up 16%. I don’t do options, I just deploy money on those big dips and rarely ever sell.

The fact that Counting Crows came out with August and Everything After in 1993, during the height of the grunge era, makes it all the more impressive. Totally unique vibe and sound for that time, and still resonated with the youth. Plus there's not a bad song on the whole album.

Genuinely feel for the people in their 30’s who don’t have kids. Feel even worse for the ones in their 40’s and above. Can’t imagine going through the last half of life without children or grandchildren.
