@AbiazRwamwiri That's needs to be put in the bill before it is passed. It should be as like that. It should clearly talk about say the supervision of Pharmaceutical manufacturing should be done by a qualified person.

And what does the Bill say, exactly that; but it says the overall supervisor will be a pharmacist!
The noise in the background seem to suggest that we are putting up a law that is suggesting that everyone on the manufacturing MUST be a pharmacist; NO! It clearly puts the final responsibility on a pharmacist while in full knowledge that they will have other qualified personal to work with!
Sit down those making false alarms and they tell you exactly what they want!

In every pharmaceutical, there is a position for company pharmacist which is strictly for pharmacists. We want heads of Quality and Production to be qualified persons with no ring fencing

I don’t earn anything from lies; that list you shared has an overall supervisor who is a Pharmacist! HE @KagutaMuseveni has severally met experts from both @WHO and African Medicines Agency, he knows these facts! Time for politics ended, Uganda must do the right thing! No one is saying other qualified persons won’t be involved but must be supervised by the right person and for medicines, that person is a pharmacist!

Your degrees are appropriate for other roles and no one can displace you from those. But you can't maneuver your way into roles you're not qualified for!

Never front your cutting off points stuff here you will embarrass your self and your colleagues from KIU. The minimum is a principle pass in chem and Bio and a subsidiary in maths. In other words with 5 points in BCM, and weights as low as 16, one qualifies for your course.

Don't use emotions, provide evidence in the difference. Provide the curricula of that program from both countries and enlighten us the differences! We are open to learning.

Please, a pharmacist is as important as Industrial Chemist or Chemical Engineer.
We've other important people like Pathologists, Microbiologist, Pharmacologists etc. No drug can meet approval anywhere in the world without their input.

Do you know some students in PHS score as high as 42 weights, and we have pharmacy graduates who had as low as 20. What do you think 5 points weigh? Do you want to despise your fellows from KIU? They qualified. Basic is 2 principle passes for a BCM student, the rest don't matter!

But we all know for a fact, is phs is done by the lowest ranked at uace, it's a scheme to not put to waste people with potential otherwise you'd be a cobbler

To make sure the patient gets the right medication, counselling the patients, how to sell medicines, supply management etc.

In as much as your uace says you're not sharp to do pharmacy, you're still useful in other roles such as a lab steward! So it's tailored for pple that don't have a higher mental rigor, so surely it's scope had to be limited
