Parents: Stop biting off more than you can chew for your kids. You are stretching them far too thin and losing track of what it means to actually be committed to something. The in season sport comes first. Some people out here having their kids play 3 sports in one season. With that you're never going to be able to appease all parties. You're making it harder on yourself. Trust me, if your kid misses a winter baseball practice because he has basketball/wrestling (in season) he's going to be alright. The problem occurs when you have sports that are being played outside of their season and people choose to put those over the in season sport. Any in season sport practice/game/scrimmage comes way before an out of season sport event.

If a player really cares about their team, then they don’t and won’t accept poor attitude/effort from their teammates.

Baseball and softball games vs New London on Saturday have been moved to a 1pm start due to the colder temperatures.

If your coach is being tough on you and demanding consider it a gift. They probably see some things in you that you don't see in yourself.
