@illyism It’s a genuinely great product. There’s so many things on my wishlist that I wish they would have built in like Browse For Me on Windows etc. Feel like I’ve just heard from too many people the same sentiment to justify scrapping it

thinking about SSW
MiLB ball [left]: different ssw movement compared to the mlb ball [right], rougher surface, supposedly higher seams but they feel the same to me.
my guess is that the surface roughness is more important to its different SSW effects than the seam height

@Tstokey Easier to see with smaller sample sizes, but in the short run you can see guys who try to play through injuries for a bit (Encarnacion-Wrist) (Trout-Hamate) and can create funky little bimodal distributions

this play was given a 50% catch prob by the statcast model, but they haven’t included the wall factor yet.
when running through my catch prob model i get 21% prior to including the wall and 10% with the wall included
