@BensonsForBeds ordered my bed & surround 1st feb. Only delivered surround 21 March!! I was offered a used mattress, really!!! I am disabled and need my mattress, it’s taken a lot for me to order it. I was offered my delivery charge back. I can’t tell you how upset I am.

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO MAKE A NEW FRIEND ❤️ So… Tony and I were chatting after the carol service last night and John wandered over and sat down next to us to “rest his back”. We’d not met John before and we started chatting about life & work and it turned out John & Tony were both born in 1936, are 87 years old and just live “over the hill” from each other. I just sat there, sipped on the Christmas punch, nibbled a mince pie, and listened for half-an-hour as the pair of them reminisced about places they’d been, people they knew, long-lost friends, disasters they remembered, evacuation, living through WWII, bombing raids, rebuilding Sheffield, loneliness, church, football and everything in-between. We all laughed and left with a spring in our steps - although Tony did tell me off for getting him home too late: “I’m normally in bed by 8 Dan. You’ve turned me into a dirty-stop-out” 😂😂 It was a great night out and lovely to have met you John. Thanks for coming over for a chat. PS Tony has a straw in his hand because he needs it to drink with his shaking hands. He asked the serving team at church for a ‘fiddy-fiddy’ as he calls it: half tea, half coffee, milk and 3 sugars 😂🤢 Apparently “it were great” 👍 #christmas #carols #christmascarols #friendship #Sheffield #SheffieldIsSuper
