How do you know he was faking it? I haven’t seen anything suggesting that. You seem to be speculating about what happened every bit as much as I am. If he was faking being asleep, then I will acknowledge that I was wrong. But to me it looked like he had more than just the one beer to drink that night and it caused him to get sleepy.

Some Anytown residents do better than others. Some cannot afford groceries. Let’s fix that. We’ll make “everything affordable to everyone”. EQUALITY. The fix- give 1 million dollars to anyone who can’t afford food- Food for life. Problem solved!! Or is it? What sounds good on paper often doesn’t not translate to real world /human nature. What really happens when ⅓ of the towns folk get a million bucks???? Obviously Every resident knows the town is flooded with hordes of new cash. Human nature dictates that a thing is worth only what someone else is willing to pay for it. Now the new millionaires don’t mind spending $10 for a $2 loaf of bread. After all the million bucks cost them nothing, a free handout. And they’ve got a lifetime supply. Meanwhile all the good citizens of Anytown USA who were handling their shit and paying their bills have seen groceries prices skyrocket. Now they Cannot afford $10 bread.
