Refused service by @bitfinex — without a clear or transparent explanation. (One of the worst exchanges ever) @BitfinexReplies
I respect a platform’s right to choose its users.
But users also deserve basic transparency and proper data protection. After refusing service, the minimum expectation is simple: Do not retain or misuse any personal information. Compared with @binance and @Bybit_Official , the gap in compliance handling and user experience is obvious.
Disappointed, but not surprised.

@nntaleb The Black Swan is a great book (highly recommended) — and it’s not easy to read.
Not because it’s technical, but because it forces you to give up something deeply comforting: the belief that the world is predictable.
Taleb’s critique isn’t just about forecasting.
It’s about our obsession with the Gaussian bell curve — the idea that most things are normal, average, and safely distributed around the mean.
The problem is that real life doesn’t live in Mediocristan.
It lives in Extremistan, where a single event can outweigh years of stability.
The turkey problem captures this perfectly.
Past data looks increasingly “Gaussian,” increasingly safe — right up until the day it becomes irrelevant.
Black swans aren’t simply rare events.
They are events that sit outside our models, outside the bell curve, and outside what historical data can meaningfully prepare us for — yet they end up dominating outcomes.
What makes the book uncomfortable is not the claim that we can’t predict the future,
but that we keep trusting models that assume thin tails, then explain failure away with hindsight.
Taleb isn’t telling us to stop thinking about the future.
He’s warning us against confusing mathematical elegance with real-world robustness.
The real lesson isn’t about finance or statistics. It’s about survival:
reducing downside exposure, preserving optionality, and not mistaking historical averages for safety.
You don’t finish The Black Swan feeling smarter. You finish it more cautious, more skeptical — and far less impressed by confident predictions built on bell curves.

The market is down,
but real activity is picking up.
Across BTC / ETH / SOL:
– Prices ↓
– Volume +40–70%
– OI ↓
This doesn’t look like fresh leverage chasing upside.
It looks like leveraged positions getting flushed while spot rotates.
Funding stays tame — no euphoria, no panic.
Just digestion.
These phases aren’t for aggressive bets.
They’re for patience, structure, and DCA.
Noise lies.
Data doesn’t.

@TedPillows Patterns are useful, but markets aren’t driven by 12H flags alone. Context matters more.

The $BTC Rainbow Chart flashing “Basically a Fire Sale” says enough.
For long-term holders like me, these dips don’t feel scary anymore —
they just look like part of the plan.
We’re still sitting in the accumulation zone, and DCA quietly works best exactly here.
No one really “buys the bottom,”
but staying consistent before the next halving has always aged well.
Tune out the noise, keep the rhythm:
DCA, hold, and let time do its thing.
