Recently, there has been some drawbacks on Polymarket weather markets volume as a consequence of some series of changes. I'm writing this thread to address problems, so that we can have a better market in future and get the problems fixed.

And again tomorrow we already have too many markets decided on Weather Markets.. Austin,Houston,Dallas,Seattle, Denver. Hey @williamlegate @shayne_coplan @Polymarket @devjoshstevens @mustafap0ly , when will garage business polymarket fix it? 2 Months ago we did the same question, and we still without any fixes, support or at least any answer. Liquidity is currently the worst ever. Impossible to get any order completely filled, is it an strategy from polymarket to get more money with fees? Please, let me know.

I started trading weather in February with just $10. Made $1.8k in February, $3.2k in March, and $4.75k in April. The growth’s been really nice to see, excited for what May brings. April: 25 win days, 5 loss days, 83% win rate. Stats by @betmoardotfun

Today in Seoul - the hardest city on Poly just got harder. WU, the official resolution website, will now, apparently, sometimes (or at least in this one case) show a different temperature for the same timestamp, depending on the IP address of the user who is visiting the webpage.

Real up and down day for for NYC today. Just shows weather can be very unpredictable and that’s when you have to try to take advantage of the uncertainty.

$549 turned into $58,473 Not crypto. Not options. Not some degenerate leverage play Just a bet that New York City wouldn't hit 76°F on a Tuesday in March BeefSlayer has been quietly printing money on Polymarket weather markets for months $549 starting capital $58,000+ in profits 1,500+ trades 67.7% win rate While everyone else was arguing about elections and NBA titles, this guy built a system around something nobody took seriously - daily temperature ranges in US cities The pattern is always the same: - Market misprices a weather outcome - He buys shares at 1-5 cents - His data confirms the direction - He waits $12 becomes $1,000 $18 becomes $1,072 $6 becomes $2,990 He doesn't predict weather He predicts where the market is wrong about weather NYC alone made him +$19,698 Seattle added another +$9,493 Five cities, one obsession, zero distractions There are some open positions right now if you know where to look Watch @beefslayer?r=kropanchik#pj6DbIy" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">polymarket.com/@beefslayer?r=… The scariest part? He's probably running GFS model data or some meteorological terminal the rest of us have never heard of Edges this clean don't come from luck What market do you think nobody's taking seriously right now?

A Polymarket weather trader turned $6 → $2990 on a single Atlanta temperature bet a 49,744% return in 24 hours He built a system that snipes ultra-rare weather mispricings in the {0.2¢ - 11¢} range before the crowd checks the forecast GFS says Atlanta 38°F → 65% likely. Market prices it at $0.002. He buys Result: $0.002 → $1.00 when it hits = +49,744% return His best trades: $6 → $2,990 (Atlanta 38-39°F at 0.2¢ +49,744%) $40 → $1,871 (NYC 34-35°F at 2¢ +4,578%) $536 → $4,639 (Seattle 52-53°F at 11.6¢ +764%) Start copy-trading any trader even with $10 → @weather" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">kreo.app/@weather Stat: > $57,136 all-time profit > 1,504 trades > Biggest win: $4,103

@BeefSlayer_ @Polymarket But they were usually.max 48h out, I dont think that's too far. We also need to consider local time (eg Wellington) vs US time zones

Might be a day of no weather trading today, most of the US markets are already closed out. Glad to hear @Polymarket will be adjusting how far out the markets are made in order to make the brackets more accurate

@polymarket_data @Polymarket The bracket range that is being used is good imo but they were being created too many days in advance. It sounds like that time frame will be cut shorter to allow more accuracy for the range

Weather market bracket design is genuinely tricky — too narrow a range and you get massive lopsided books; too wide and the resolution ambiguity creates disputes. Curious whether the adjustment is to the time horizon, the underlying weather station reference, or both. The most liquid weather PMs tend to have very precise, publicly verifiable resolution sources (NOAA data, specific airport readings).

Stop DMing me for weather trading advice. The secret is @Wethrnet. The ROI on their PRO plan is insane for what they charge. This isn't a sponsored post, I just want to give Hermie the credit he deserves for all his hard work. Hope this helps everyone!

What if I told you that not all data is equal - and that the weather leaderboards are dominated by people who use Wethr.net. Faster data. Enterprise level tools. Constant updates.

Maskache2 is a masterclass in systematic alpha And you’re missing it because it’s "too boring" Look at his PnL graph on the first slide It’s a flawless diagonal line up and to the right This is what actual professional prediction trading looks like It isn’t luck It’s data and flawless execution $30.6k profit across 1,547 separate predictions Zero interest in trading headlines or sports He owns the Seoul and Hong Kong weather markets My read on this profile is he’s parsing meteorological models faster than retail can check the forecast Look at his closed positions (second slide) He doesn't just win big When he loses the damage is strictly managed by his risk parameters He loses $1.3k on a trade not his entire portfolio Dumb money guesses headlines Smart money finds a mathematical edge
