@BOIndiaOfficial Hi it’s the third time in the last one year that I have been questioned by the immigration department as to why I take flights from Mumbai international airport for foreign travel. I am a resident of Mumbai/Thane on my passport. I was born in Dibrugarh Assam in 1972 and move to Mumbai in 1980. Today also I was questioned as to why I chose to travel via Mumbai. I know the immigration officer is doing his job but he can check my credentials Aadhar/ Drivers License and Voter id , rather he chose to question me . This has happened to me 3 times since October 2025 . I fail to understand why. Please look into this issue.

I was born in Assam , but been living in Mumbai since 1980, recently at Mumbai International Airport @CSMIA_Official I have been again and again asked that since I was born in Assam why do I take flights from Mumbai Airport , weird, Last I checked Assam is in India and I am a resident of Mumbai and own two properties here .
