@BurnabyNOW_News Not a surprise, I actually think the number is higher. If hotels weren’t so ridiculously expensive the short term rental market wouldn’t be so lucrative. And then there is the greed of the landlords who are making more money from short term rentals - increase the license fee!

@DailyHiveVan Universities and colleges should be required to have a minimum number of rental units available for domestic students and also for foreign students. A percentage of total enrolment for each. That would definitely help the long term rental market.

@BCLions Me too! 3rd and 1 seems to be a problem with Dom Davis in there. That’s two costly turnovers early in games (Hamilton and vs Winnipeg) that changed the momentum and the Lions never recovered from either. Time to try Evans or keep Adams in there.

@KamilKaramali Maybe if hotels rooms weren’t so ridiculously expensive, Air BnB wouldn’t exist. How about asking government to regulate what hotels can charge? Then, some of the short term rentals might be available for long term renters.

Maybe, government should regulate hotel room prices, if they were not so expensive, the short term rentals would drop in demand & those units could be available long term.
