@noob_contrarian Closest at hand and the integration with the Apple ecosystem. I used to use Evernote too, but at a certain point it was just easier to use Apple Notes even though it didn’t have all of the same features.

You built your MVP. Showed it to your friends. Maybe got a few pity signups. But no real users.
Sound like you? Don’t give up yet, there’s still a chance people actually want your product.
Here’s my playbook to get your first 100 actual signups - and how I turned dozens of those into paying customers, without paying for ads.
I’m Vas, an engineer at Meta, and I’ve built multiple B2C/B2B tools used by thousands. This is the exact system I follow, and it works EVERY time. It’s the ONLY system you’ll need.

@BeezdoesitEz You’re definitely right, I kinda rushed the alignment, lol. Thanks for the feedback!

@BreezySei Yeah, I’ve found it depends on the prompt, but it’s much easier to look at 2 or more versions that are 60-70% there and then go with the one that fits your vision better.

@Kino570sV2 Thanks! I think my challenge is trying to find that fine line between sharing too much and sharing enough.

@BeezdoesitEz Talking about what your building, problems your running into, sharing milestones… maybe even starting a daily series (which I might start soon)

@TrueIMPixel The simplest answer is to get involved with the niche. Figure out where they like to congrate and then listen for pain points and frustations.

@Picolas_Caged I agree, but think the tech will iterate quickly. V1 won’t be able to compete, but V3 - V5 will be in a completely different league.

Unpopular opinion:
Humanoid robots won't take human workers' jobs for 20 years.
Why?
Because you can get better economic throughput exploiting a human.
Think about it, robots need both hardware maintenance and software maintenance. This is costly in 2 ways, firstly, the cost of oil + parts + labour to replace them. Secondly the loss of production during the downtime; it's not like you can call another robot in to cover the shift.
Humans are fully self servicing and do all their own maintenance. There's no loss of production, you just call in some cover.
To top it all off, robots, in their current form are painfully slow than humans - they also can't problem solve or communicate problems.
They just aren't there yet IMO. Can't see this being a good investment yet, too early.
