If the dictator refuses to release all 1400 political hostages, all cargo transportation to and from Belarus must be cut off, and the harshest, unprecedented sanctions must be imposed on Lukashenko’s family, including the arrest of his son in Dubai. This is the only way to secure the release of the hostages, whom the dictator has been holding for five years. He mocks the world. The dictator must be made to weep. We hope that Minister @sikorskiradek will find the time and opportunity to discuss with the @StateDept the release of all political prisoners in Belarus, without exception. It is unacceptable that for five years politicians have been unable to resolve an issue that has already been in the spotlight of Nobel laureates three times. If politicians are unable to solve even such a small, tiny issue, what global issues can we even talk about? This issue can be resolved in 24 hours. All that is needed is political will and determination. There are absolutely no obstacles to resolving this issue. For almost five years, politicians have only expressed their concern, but have done almost nothing to secure the release of 1,400 political prisoners in Belarus. Are those in power today unable to deal with a small dictator like Lukashenko? Honestly, there is no hope left for the European Union. In the past five years, they have done nothing, except for @sikorskiradek , to free the people in Belarus. Prove through action that you are capable of resolving this issue. We hope that the new U.S. administration will show its resolve and prove that they are capable of dealing with dictator Lukashenko in 24 hours.
