Using cluster bombs on Israeli cities is highly immoral, but not irrational. Israel's willingness to absorb costs is lower than Iran's, because Iran is existentially threatened whereas Israel is not. Even Netanyahu said the other day the threat was removed. That said, it probably won't work to stop the war, either.

@elonmusk I believe the issue is time, with both parents working it's hard to tap out for at least 9 months and then juggle childcare when you return. The days of being able to earn on a single income for the average Joe are over and this is the result.

I'm pretty sure this person is Koryo-saram or 고려사람. They are descendents of ethnic Koreans who lives in the Russian far-East. Stalin deported them to Central Asia which includes Kyrgyzstan. They're a pretty small ethnic group world wide (~500K people) but they actually do have a few communities in ROK.

One of the worst features of referendums is how the winners act as if it’s permanent and any change to it is a betrayal of democracy and the losers act as if it doesn’t matter and we can have a second referendum a few years later

It's crazy to come to a country and expect everyone to bend over backwards for your own dietary restrictions. Muslims are especially aggressive at imposing themselves on other cultures wherever they go. It's not worth letting them in.
